Breezehome is one of many houses that can be purchased by players in the game Skyrim. This is the first house you can buy while playing the main story, and can be a safe place to store finds while in Whiterun Hold. Breezehome can be purchased for 5,000 Gold after you complete the 'Bleaks Falls Barrow' mission in the main story.

Part 1 of 3: Complete the 'Bleak Falls Barrow' Mission
Step 1. Start the mission 'Bleak Falls Barrow'
These missions are part of the main story in Skyrim, and you can get them from Farenger Secret-Fire in Dragonsreach, Whiterun. This mission is a continuation of the mission 'Before the Storm.'
Note: You can ease the mission by going to Bleak Fall Barrow before you reach Whiterun. You can start the Golden Claw mission by talking to Lucan Valerius in Riverwood. This mission allows you to get all the items you need from Bleak Falls Barrow and give them to Farengar Secret-Fire as soon as you get the mission, without having to go back to that place
Step 2. Go to Bleak Falls Barrow
You can find the dungeon south of Whiterun, and west of Riverwood. There will be some baddies outside of Bleak Falls Barrow, so you'll need to defeat them in order to enter the place. The entrance to Bleak Falls Barrow can be found at the top of the stairs in the ruins.
Step 3. Defeat the two baddies in the first room and move on
After that, you'll immediately meet a criminal who pulled the wrong lever. The lever triggers a trap that kills him.
Step 4. Arrange the existing pillars
You can see some tablets above the gate and next to the lever to determine the correct order of the pillars. Arrange the pillars in the order of 'snake,' 'snake, ' and 'whale.' The correct order helps you to pull the right lever so you can move on.
Step 5. Free Arvel, then defeat him
You'll find Arvel the Swift trapped in a spider's web at the bottom of the dungeon. Attack the cobwebs to free him, and he'll be on his way. Defeat him so you can easily get to his body. If you don't defeat him immediately, he will either be killed by a draugr, or stabbed in a thorn trap.
Arvel would curl up for a while after being released from the spider web. When he curled up was the perfect time to beat him
Step 6. Take the Golden Claw and use it to solve the puzzle
You will find the Golden Claw on Arvel's corpse. Golden Claw will later be needed to pass the 'Three Ring' puzzle in the dungeon. Take a closer look at the Golden Claw in your bag to see the correct order of the rings (from top to bottom: bear, hummingbird, and owl).
Step 7. Read the words on the Word Wall and defeat the dragon
Word Wall will teach you Unrelenting Shout, one of the most useful shouts in Skyrim. After reading the writing on the Word Wall, you will be attacked by the overlord draugr, a dragon. Defeat the dragon and take the Dragonstone.
Step 8. Give the Dragonstone to Farenger Secret-Fire in Dragonsreach in Whiterun
After you give Dargonstone, your mission is complete so you can buy a house in Whiterun.
Part 2 of 3: Buying a House
Step 1. Talk to Jarl
After completing the mission, talk to the Jarl in Dragonsreach. He will tell you that there are houses to buy, and direct you to Proventus Avenicci.
Step 2. Meet Proventus Avenicci at Whiterun
You can find him near the throne, inside Dragonsreach. If he wasn't there, he might be in his room or eating at the Great Porch.
If you haven't purchased a house when you start the 'Battle for Whiterun' mission from Stormcloaks, you will be prompted to purchase the house from Brill in Dragonsreach
Step 3. Buy the house for 5000 Gold
Proventus will sell you the house if you can afford to spend 5000 Gold. If you don't have enough cash, loot some of the existing dungeons and sell your loot to the merchants in Whiterun.
Step 4. Purchase furniture for your home from Proventus
When you first buy it, your house will be empty, but you can add furniture and other decorations by buying it from Proventus. When you buy additional furniture, it will be delivered to your home automatically.)
You can buy furniture by room. For example, you can buy 2 weapons racks, 1 bookshelf, 1 cupboard, 1 small table, and 2 small chairs for the living room. For the bedroom, you can buy 3 bed tables, 1 wardrobe, 1 table, 1 storage box, 2 chairs, and 1 display shield
Step 5. Find your new home
After buying a house, you will receive the key and can use your home right away. Your new house is called Breezehome, and you can find it east of Warmaiden, on the west side of the inner gate of Whiterun.
Part 3 of 3: Using Your Home
Step 1. Store your belongings safely in the safe at home
Many of the storage areas in Skyrim reset after a while, so it's not safe for you to keep your valuables inside. However, the storage space in your home will never be reset, allowing you to store all your belongings safely.
- Many players sort items by category and store these items in different storage areas to make it easier for them to find these items. For example, you can put all your clothes and protective gear in the storage area in your bedroom, and all the groceries in the storage area in the kitchen.
- The weapon you use will be automatically stored in the weapon storage area. It's a great way to show off your precious weapon.
Step 2. Upgrade your kitchen utensils for cooking and food preparation
When upgrading the kitchen, you will get a cooking pot. You can use these pans to combine ingredients into more effective and nutritious meals.

Step 3. Improve the quality of your alchemy laboratory to concoct potions
The alchemy lab allows you to use the ingredients at your disposal to concoct powerful potions. You can combine up to 3 ingredients (two main ingredients, one additional ingredient) to make a variety of deadly auxiliary potions and poisons. Step 4. Make good use of the nearby blacksmiths
One of the advantages of Breezehome is its close proximity to Warmaiden. This means that you can easily forge and repair your tools without first having to pick up the proper tools.
Step 5. Know what you can't at Breezehome
Breezehome does not have an Enchanting Table, nor a mannequin. Without the Enchanting Table, you can't enchant items unless you walk into Dragonsreach. Without a mannequin, you can't show off your beloved protector. In addition, Breezehome is also a bit far from the Thieves Guild in Honningbrew Meadery.
