If you're tired of dealing with pans with charred eggs sticking to them, and a dirty kitchen, or if you're looking to find a quick way to make breakfast, making scrambled eggs in the microwave is a quick, easy and no-mess method.
Ingredients
- 2-3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon butter or cooking spray (optional)
- Salt and pepper to add flavor (optional)
Step
Method 1 of 2: Microwave Scrambled Eggs (Way 1)
Step 1. Spray or grease the microwave-safe bowl with cooking spray or butter
If you do this, the egg mixture won't stick to the bottom of the bowl when it's cooked.
Step 2. Crack an egg into a bowl, then add a tablespoon of milk
Step 3. Stir the eggs and milk until combined using a fork
Step 4. Put the bowl in the microwave and cook for 1 minute at 100% power
Be aware that the bowl may be hot when finished, and wear oven mitts. Remove the bowl from the microwave, and the eggs should be only partially cooked (see Warning section below). Gently stir the eggs with a fork so that the uncooked parts mix with the slightly cooked parts. Return the eggs to the microwave. You can cover the bowl with a napkin to prevent the eggs from splattering.
Step 5. Cook the eggs in the microwave at 30 second intervals until the texture of the eggs becomes firmer
Make sure that you don't overcook it.

Tips
- Don't add salt until you're ready to eat eggs. Adding it at an early stage will make the eggs hard.
- The above guidelines apply to two eggs. Increase the cooking time if you want to cook more eggs.
- Never cook with metal utensils in the microwave. Use porcelain, glass, or ceramic utensils.
- The resulting egg won't have the exact same taste as a skillet-cooked egg, but it can be done quickly without making another dish.
- This dish will splatter as it cooks, so it is recommended that you cover the bowl with a paper towel to prevent the eggs from splashing in the microwave.
- Remember that you want to eat eggs with other foods, but need to heat them up first, reheat them separately in the microwave. The eggs will continue to cook, so the eggs may become crunchy and brown as they are heated.
- Water will make the eggs wetter, while milk or cream will make the eggs softer and creamier. The determining factor which is better is personal taste.
- After the first minute, you should watch the eggs so they don't overcook.
- You can add flavor to the eggs by putting melted cheese on top of the eggs.
- Alternatively, put the eggs in a glass measuring cup.
- Try mixing in one slice of cheese (at an early stage) for an added cheesy flavor!
- Add the cheese before you heat the eggs in the microwave for added flavor.
- Prepare a water container, then insert the egg container into the middle of the water container, then heat it in the microwave. The resulting dish will be perfect. Mix in the pesto for added flavor.
- Allow the eggs to cool, then mix them with mayonnaise to make a simple sandwich.
Warning
- Wear oven mitts or a cloth when handling the container.
- For health reasons, make sure that you always use a clean fork every time you want to re-mix eggs that have been microwaved.
- The bowl may get very hot or even crack.
- never ever Put the metal in the microwave.
