This wikiHow teaches you how to find your Skype username (also known as Skype ID) on your Android device.

Step 1. Open the Skype app on the Android device
This app is marked by a blue and white letter “S” icon. Usually, you can find this icon on the page/app drawer.
Sign in to your Skype account first
Step 2. Touch the profile photo icon
This photo is in the top center of the screen. The profile page will open after that.
Step 3. Look for the Skype ID next to “Skype Name”
Your ID is under the “PROFILE” heading. Keep in mind that your ID can be a self-created name or start with the phrase “live:”, followed by a character set, depending on when the account was created.
- If you want to copy your Skype username to the clipboard, touch the name, then confirm the copy when prompted.
- To paste the copied username into another application, touch and hold the typing field, then select “ Paste ”.
