Centering text in Photoshop is similar to centering text in Microsoft Word. However, Photoshop has extra features that let you achieve the perfect look of text, center text boxes, the text itself, or just center horizontally or vertically.

Method 1 of 2: Center Text on Canvas
Step 1. Write the text using " Text tool " (T)
Open the image and place the text on the page. You are free to write anything, as long as the amount and type of text can be placed right in the image.
Step 2. Separate everything you want to center into a separate layer
This method will center everything inside the selected layer. So, if you have five layers you want to center, you need to do it manually or merge all five layers into one. For now, just work with one layer.
Step 3. Switch to the " Rectangle Marquee Tool " (M) and select the entire canvas
This is the second tool from the top in the toolbar, which is a dotted box with a small triangle in the bottom corner. Once selected, click and drag from the top left corner until the entire canvas is selected.
Step 4. Return to the " Move Tool " (V)
This tool looks like a normal cursor, and is at the top of the toolbar on the left of the screen. Notice how the screen at the top changes for each tool; text intermediate tools are in this menu.
Step 5. Use the "aligning" button at the top of the screen to center the text as you see fit
To the right of " Show Transform Controls " is a set of lines and boxes. These are alignment tools. Hover over each tool to see what it does. You need to pay attention to these two tools:

Align Vertical Centers:
The second button, in the form of two squares with a horizontal line through the middle. This tool makes the distance above and below the text even.

Align Horizontal Centers:
The second button from the end, it's two squares with a vertical line through the middle. This tool makes the distance on both sides of the text equal or even.
Step 6. Use the arrow keys to move the text in a straight line and keep its center position
The technique of clicking and dragging text is almost impossible to center text. If you center several blocks of text or an image, but still need to space them apart, use the arrow keys to move them in a straight line. For example, if you just press the down arrow key, you will keep the text center position horizontally.
- Use Ctrl-click (PC) or Cmd-click (Mac) to move the text in smaller, more accurate increments.
- This displacement is always even. If you double-click the down arrow, double-clicking the up arrow will bring the text back to its original place.
Method 2 of 2: Center Text with Justifying
Step 1. Open the desired image in Photoshop
If you want to do a test first, open a blank image and fill in plain text on the page.
Step 2. Click the "T" symbol at the far left of the toolbar
You can also press the T key on your keyboard to bring up text options. You will see a new bar appear at the top of the screen containing font, size, spacing, etc. options.
Step 3. Press the " center text " button to center-justify the text
While your text is selected and your text shop is still active, find the set of three dashed lines that are meant to mimic text on the page. Hover over the second one and the words " center text " will appear. Click to center the text.
