Method 1 of 3: Windows 10 Default Method
Step 1. Open the document you want to change
Open the document, file, or web page that you want to save in PDF format.
Step 2. Click the File button
It's in the menu bar in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Click the Print… button
It's at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Double-click the Microsoft Print To PDF option
Step 5. Name the file
You can name the file in the " File Name: " field at the bottom of the dialog box that appears.
Step 6. Select a file storage location
Step 7. Click the Save button
It's in the lower-right corner of the dialog box. After that, the document will be saved as a PDF file in the previously specified storage location.
Method 2 of 3: Using Microsoft Office
Step 1. Open the Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document that you want to convert
Step 2. Click the File button
It's in the menu bar in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Click the Save As… button
It's at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
On some versions of Office, click the “ Exports… " if the option is available on the menu " File ”.

Step 1. Open the document you want to change
Open the document, file or web page that you want to save in PDF format.

Step 4. Click the PDF button
It's in the lower-left corner of the printing dialog box (“Print”). After that, a pop-up menu will be displayed.
- If you don't see this option, find it and click " Print using system dialog… ”.
- Some applications, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, do not support the print/file to PDF conversion feature.
Step 5. Click the Save as PDF… option

Step 6. Name the file
You can name the file in the " Save As: " field at the top of the dialog box.
Step 7. Specify the file storage location
Use the drop-down menu under the " Save As: " column or select a location in the " Favorites " section that appears on the left side of the dialog box.
