You can also click the icon + on the left of a folder to expand it and show subfolders.

This will start extracting the contents of the RAR file to the selected folder. When the extraction is complete, the contents of the RAR file will be accessible like a normal file or folder.

Tips

Technically, WinRAR works on a Mac, but only as a Terminal-level application. It is better to use Unarchiver or StuffIt Expander to extract RAR files on Mac computer
