If you regularly work at a desk for computer work or study, you will need to sit in an office chair that is properly adjusted for your body, to avoid back problems and pain. As doctors, chiropractors, and physiotherapists know, many people experience serious problems due to excessively pulled ligaments in their spine, and sometimes even spinal disc problems from sitting in an office chair in an inappropriate position for long periods of time. However, adjusting the position of an office chair is easy and only takes a few minutes if you know how to adapt it to your body proportions.

Step 1. Determine the height of your work area

Set your work area at the right elevation point. Ideally you can change the height of your own workplace, but there are very few workplaces that provide a height change option. If the height of your workplace cannot be adjusted, then you will need to adjust the height of your chair.

Step 5. Adjust the seat back height
