It seems easy to say “I like you”….but in reality it can be one of the scariest things you can do! Below are some things you can read to boost your confidence as well as ways to make sure everything goes according to plan. You can also find some great ideas to help you express your feelings to your crush. Let's start with Step 1!

Part 1 of 4: Prepare Yourself For Success
Step 1. Give him signs
You have to give him the opportunity to realize for himself that you like him, so he can do something if he really wants to do it. Try to flirt a little and make sure to spend some time with him. Try to touch him occasionally and give him other signs. Don't let this passion sit idle for too long!

Step 4. Make a gift for her
You can make a gift to express your feelings to him. Try to modify it especially for him, and if the two of you have been friends before, try to use the gift to remind you of the good times you two had together.
- Paint a small wooden box with the initials of the two of you in a heart, then fill the box with photos of the times you spent together, snippets of movie tickets you watched together, or other things that remind you of the good times you spent together..

Part 3 of 4: Things Not to Do When Expressing Your Feelings
Step 1. Don't push him
Don't just say "I love you" and don't talk about the future you want with him. It's a good idea to avoid discussing future issues as it can be stressful and the expectations you show him can stress him out and move away from you!
Instead, try to discuss what you want to try and what you hope will come true in the end. "I wish we could try to be more than just friends," and so on
Step 2. Don't be a scary person
Don't look scary when you express your feelings. So you shouldn't beg, bargain, and try not to touch him or come close to his private space until you know he feels the same way. It's also a good idea not to be around him all the time if he needs time to think about what you're telling him.
Step 3. Don't use social media or phone
If you can, it's best to tell how you feel in person. Using social media or texting can come across as not being serious or, worse, being joking. You definitely don't want to impress him like that.
Step 4. Don't rush
Don't rush into expressing your feelings and if he reciprocates your feelings, don't rush into a serious relationship. If you have to go through all the anxiety when expressing your feelings, you want to make sure you really like them, right? This can be a lengthy process and will continue even after you have started a relationship.

Step 1. Don't worry too much about rejection
Don't be afraid of rejection. It's a bad feeling to be rejected, but in a few years time, you probably won't remember it at all. Just remember this: he loses. You don't want to be with someone who doesn't like you as much as you do. You deserve someone better than that!
Step 2. Ask him if he wants to be your girlfriend, if he feels the same way
If he feels the same way, make sure you ask him out if he doesn't!
