Instagram allows its users to follow accounts and like photos of other users. These two things make users appear or are considered 'famous' by the public. If you are trying and want to be famous on Instagram, don't worry. You can become famous on Instagram by improving the quality of your account, growing the Instagram community, and learning to tell a story through the photos you upload.

- For example, users who upload photos of their adventures exploring the mountains in Indonesia can use hashtags such as #hiking, #exploreindonesia, #camping, #expedition, #adventure, and hashtags related to the location visited (eg #exploredieng).
- Users who want to share their illustrations on Instagram can include hashtags such as #illustrators, #artistofinstagram, #doodle, and #penandink.
- In Indonesia, some hashtags that are quite popular, among them, are #nofilter (for photos uploaded without using a filter), #tbt (short for Throwback Thursday, used to denote old photos uploaded on Thursdays as a form of nostalgia).), #exploreindonesia (for photos that show the beauty of nature, tourist attractions or Indonesian culture), and #ootd (short for outfit of the day, used for photos showing the style of dress worn by users on the same day).
Step 2. Follow other Instagram users
Look for Instagram users who upload photos you like and add them to your “Follow” list. Try posting comments and liking the photos that appear in your feed every time you access Instagram. It's very difficult to be popular on Instagram without interacting and "like" each other with other users.
Step 3. Connect Instagram account to Facebook account
There's a good chance that some of your friends on Facebook will want to follow you on Instagram. Follow your Facebook friends on Instagram and they will follow you back.
