This wikiHow teaches you how to use a fake phone number to sign up for WhatsApp. These fake phone numbers were obtained through Google Voice, an app for sending text messages and calling people anonymously. Unfortunately, you still need to use your real mobile number, whether it's yours or someone else's, to be able to sign up for Google Voice. Therefore, you will need to temporarily access your real phone number in order to create a Google Voice account before you can sign up for WhatsApp without using a phone number.
