Our conscious mind is amazing, but our subconscious mind is even more amazing! While the conscious mind processes choices or actions, the subconscious also processes choices and actions without us realizing it. Plans, choices, and actions that were once activated in the subconscious mind will remain before they are realized. Research proves that mind control that arises without us realizing it is not impossible. However, you have to do some action and practice in order to be able to access and control the subconscious mind.
Step
Method 1 of 4: Get in the habit of Positive Thinking
Step 1. Have a positive inner chat
Change negative inner chatter using affirmations. You can change your mindset and get rid of the habit of acting and thinking subconsciously. Change the habit of thinking "I can't do it!" with "I can do it!" Instead of saying “I always fail!” make the statement “I will make it!” When you notice that you are back in the negative mind chatter, stop immediately and take a deep breath. Think about why you're telling yourself that you definitely can't make it. Try to find out why you are thinking negative thoughts. This reason is a trigger factor for negative thoughts and make a commitment to change that mindset using affirmations.
The mindset that causes negative inner chatter can't be changed overnight, but it takes time and consistent effort. Try to think positively as you try to free yourself from negative desires and behaviors that arise without you realizing it
Step 2. Make a positive mantra
When you're feeling anxious or stressed, repeat your self-made mantra over and over again to calm your nerves and dispel negative thoughts. Saying the mantra consistently can defeat negative thoughts and actions that arise from the subconscious mind. Recognize your negative thoughts and admit that your habit of judging yourself is unfounded. Make a healing spell by recognizing the untruth of your self-judgmental statements. Also make two other spells with the same idea and use them alternately. Designate a specific point on your body as a place to channel positive energy, such as your heart or stomach. Place your palm on that point while chanting the healing spell over and over. Focus your attention on this endeavor and do it with full confidence.
If you don't feel like you're good enough, make a mantra that says “I am a good person”, “I am a person of value”, and “I deserve what I want”
Step 3. Visualize
Doing visualization or mental exercise by imagining the achievement of a goal is a very good way to control and train the subconscious mind. Start practicing visualization using one or both of your senses. Try imagining a photo or object that you are familiar with in detail. As you get better at it, try imagining your own movie scene or experience while observing the sounds, smells, colors, textures, and tastes. If you are able to focus more and are able to explain things in detail correctly, start visualizing about achieving your goals. Visualize yourself as realistically as possible. Don't dwell on negative things or imagine failure, but try to visualize yourself as a successful person and achieve your goals! For example, if you visualize yourself giving a speech, imagine that you managed to correct a stutter or remember a forgotten sentence, instead of trying to control the audience.
- Visualize specific goals. Define the goals you want to achieve in as specific and detailed as possible including determining the location, time and environment when you achieve success!
- Don't imagine yourself as superhuman, instead try to imagine yourself as yourself.
Method 2 of 4: Meditation to Calm the Mind
Step 1. Start meditating
Meditation will make you more focused and able to control your subconscious mind. Before meditating, decide how long you want to meditate. For beginners, start meditating for 5 minutes. Wear comfortable clothes, set a timer, then find a quiet and peaceful place. Choose a location that is uncluttered or free of distractions. You can meditate outdoors, sit cross-legged on the floor of your apartment, or on a park bench in your backyard. In preparation, do some stretching exercises so you can sit comfortably. Try touching your toes, releasing the tension in your neck, and relaxing your shoulders.
Step 2. Take care of your posture
Start meditating by sitting up straight in a chair with a backrest with both feet on the floor or sitting cross-legged on the floor on a pillow. Try to straighten your back while maintaining a natural arch in your back. Let your upper arms relax at your sides with slightly bent elbows and place your palms on your knees. Lower your chin slightly closer to your chest and keep your eyes on the floor. Find a comfortable position and begin to be aware of your body before entering into meditation.
Step 3. Focus on the rhythm of the breath and the thoughts that arise
Close your eyes and start observing the rhythm of your breath. Focus on the inhalation and exhalation. Once you're more relaxed, your mind will start to wander. Your subconscious mind will flow into the conscious mind. Just observe, don't judge and let it pass. When you notice that your mind is starting to wander, bring your attention back to the breath. After some time, your mind will wander again. Return your focus to the breath again. Repeat these steps until your meditation session is complete.
Method 3 of 4: Noting the Stream of Consciousness
Step 1. Get ready
Provide a pencil or pen and a piece of paper. Set up a timer (for poaching eggs, timer, or using your phone) and set it to 5 or 10 minutes. Find a quiet, distraction-free place. Turn off your cell phone ringtone first. Don't use a computer or other gadgets because you will be easily distracted!
Step 2. Take notes
Find a comfortable sitting position and start breathing deeply to center yourself. Set a timer and start taking notes. Don't note streams of consciousness with a specific purpose, but let your thoughts flow naturally one by one. Thoughts that arise can come from the subconscious mind. Don't judge or analyze these thoughts. Write down all the thoughts that come up until the timer goes off.
Step 3. Analyze your notes
When you're done taking notes, reread your notes. Try to meditate on your words while trying to identify patterns of repeated thoughts or strange statements. Try to find a connection between two different ideas. Take note of any thoughts that come up without you noticing. As you continue with this exercise, also read your notes from previous sessions. Observe your progress noting the stream of consciousness and try to find out if your subconscious mind has revealed itself.
Method 4 of 4: Analyzing Dreams
Step 1. Record your dreams
Before going to bed, have a pen or pencil and a notebook at your bedside. When you wake up in the morning or if you wake up at night, record your dreams in a journal. Write down in detail the dream you can still remember. Even if it feels too overwhelming or unimportant, take note of the little things in detail. If you have time to make a recording of the story about your dream, record the events, characters, people, and objects that appear in the dream.
Dreams can reveal subconscious thoughts. Therefore, you can access your subconscious mind by recording and analyzing your dreams
Step 2. Determine if your dream is meaningful and define its category
Dreams can be considered meaningless if you seem to be in a certain physical environment and there may be smells, sounds, or physical activity. Meaningful dreams are dreams that arise from the subconscious mind. This dream is unusual, feels strange, confusing, or can also bring enlightenment. If your dream is meaningful, determine which category the subconscious mind belongs to. Did your dream predict about the future? Does this dream carry a warning message? Is it a confirmation of a fact you already know? Is this dream a source of inspiration or a realization of one of your desires? Are you able to fulfill a desire to restore a relationship with someone or fix a certain thing?
Vivid dreams are usually more meaningful
Step 3. Determine the meaning of a meaningful dream
You don't have to be an expert to be able to analyze your own dreams! You just need a little effort and look for information, it can be from the internet or reading books. You have to analyze the dream thoroughly and in detail because every little thing can have a certain meaning that will improve your interpretation and understanding of the subconscious mind. If the definition of a symbol in the dictionary about the meaning of dreams is not clear enough, try to find the meaning yourself based on your life experience. Try to find out why certain circumstances, people, or things appear in your dreams.
