Step 1. Open the desired document at

Click the button " Edit ” in the menu bar at the top of the browser window, and select “ Select all ” to mark the entire document.

Step 4. Click Line spacing on the drop-down menu
Alternatively, click the button “ Line Spacing ” in the toolbar at the top of the document. This button is an icon of horizontal stripes next to the up and down arrows.
Step 5. Double Click
Marked text is now double-spaced.
Although each paragraph may have different spacing, all lines in a paragraph will have the same line spacing
Method 2 of 3: On Google Docs Mobile App
Step 1. Open the Google Docs app

It's a blue circle button with a white pencil icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Mark the text you want to add double space to
Use your finger or the arrow keys on your device's keyboard to select text.
Touch and hold the text long enough, then select “ Select all ” to select all the text in the document.
Step 5. Touch the editing menu
This menu is indicated by the letter icon “ A ” with horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 6. Touch the PARAGRAPH tab at the top of the menu
Step 7. Set the line spacing to a value of 2.00

Marked text is now double-spaced.
Even though each paragraph is spaced differently, all lines in a paragraph will have the same line spacing
Method 3 of 3: Setting Double Spacing as Primary Spacing on New Document
Step 1. Open the document at

Step 2. Mark the sections of text that have double spaces
Step 3. Click Normal text on the toolbar
It's at the top of the document.
Step 4. Click the arrow next to the Normal text option
Step 5. Touch Update 'Normal text' to match
Now, double spacing will automatically be applied to any new documents you create.
