This wikiHow teaches you how to block YouTube users from commenting on and subscribing to your channel. Blocking can be done directly through comments, or you can also block users from the channel's subscriber list.

Method 1 of 2: Blocking Users from Comments
Step 1. Sign in to your YouTube account
If you're using a computer, visit https://www.youtube.com and sign in to your account. If you're using the YouTube mobile app, tap the red square icon with a white triangle inside to launch the app.
Step 2. Click the profile photo
It's in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Select My channel
Channel content will be displayed.
Step 4. Select the video that the user commented on that you want to block
Comments will be displayed below the video window.
Step 5. Block users from your channel
To prevent them from subscribing to your channel and/or leaving comments in the future, follow these steps:
- On the computer: Click the button “ ⁝ ” next to the user comment, then select “ Hide user from the channel ”.
- On a phone or tablet: Touch the user's profile photo, touch “ ⁝ ” in the top right corner of the profile page, and select “ Block users ”.
Method 2 of 2: Blocking User from Subscriber List
Step 1. Visit and log in to your YouTube account via
If you are not logged in to your Google account, click the “ SIGN IN ” in the upper right corner of the screen first.

Step 2. Click the profile photo in the top right corner
The menu will open after that.
Step 3. Click My Channel
It's at the top of the menu.
Step 4. Click CUSTOMIZE CHANNEL
This option is one of the blue buttons in the upper-right corner of your profile page.
Step 5. Click (number of)subscribers
It's in the top-left corner of the page, above the channel image. A list of users who have subscribed to your channel will be displayed.
Only users who publish subscribed channels will be shown on this page. You can't show subscribers who hide their subscribed channels
Step 6. Click the name of the customer you want to delete
After that, you will be taken to the customer channel page.
Step 7. Click the About tab
It's in the top-right corner of the customer page.
Step 8. Click the flag icon
This icon is below the " Stats " heading, in the right column of the page. A new menu will be displayed.
Step 9. Click Block user
The user will be removed from the subscriber list and he will no longer be able to communicate with you. Blocked users also cannot comment on your videos.
