Method 1 of 2: Downloading From Microsoft
Step 1. Visit the Office 2010 download page
Microsoft Office can be legally downloaded from the Microsoft website as long as you have a valid 25-character Product Key. To find it easily, search for “Using your Office 2010 Product Key”.
- Office 2010 can no longer be purchased or used as a trial version from Microsoft. However, you can still buy the packaging from other retailers.
- Even if it's no longer available, you can still download it with a valid Product Key.
Step 2. Click the Download button
Enter the Product Key when prompted. Select the language, then enter the CAPTCHA. The download will start when you click the Submit button.
Step 3. Wait for the download to complete
The length of time to download will vary based on the Office plan itself as well as your internet connection. It usually takes about an hour.
