This wikiHow teaches you how to recover an inaccessible Facebook account. If you forget your account password, you can send a password reset request via email or text message. If you can't access your email address or use the phone number associated with your account, you can use one of several options to reset your password. Method 1 of 2: Reset Password
Step 1. Access https://facebook.com/recover/initiate via a web browser
You can use any browser to restore your account, as long as you're using a computer, phone, or tablet that was previously signed in to your account.
Follow this method if your account is still active, but you can't access it because you don't have it or you forgot the password
Step 2. Type in your email address or phone number and click Search
The address or number entered must be associated with a Facebook account that you cannot access.
Step 3. Select the password reset option you want and click Continue
The options available will depend on the information you provide to Facebook.
- If you linked one or more email addresses to your account, you may see an option to receive a password reset code by email. As long as you can still access the email account you selected or typed in, you can recover the account.
- If there's a phone number associated with your account, you'll see an option to receive a code via text message. Select that option as long as you can still use the number in question.
- You may see other options, including the option to sign in with a Google account.

Step 4. Check the email or text account on the device
Facebook sends a code you can use to reset your password to the email address or phone number associated with your account.

” (“Can't access this anymore?”), you will be prompted to try to log back into your account. If you still can't access your account and can't access the email account you entered, select “ I Cannot Access My Email ” (“I Can’t Access My Email”). Method 2 of 2: Reactivate Suspended Account
Step 1. Try logging into the account first
If you deactivated your account yourself, you can reactivate it automatically by accessing your account. However, if your account is suspended by Facebook for violating any applicable terms or regulations, you'll see a message indicating the reason when you try to log in to your account.

Step 2. Scan or photo ID card
You will need to scan or take a photo of your ID to appeal. You can use one identity card issued by a government agency (eg KTP) or two non-government identification cards. The following types of identifiers are accepted:
