This wikiHow teaches you how to log in to Discord using a computer. To do this, download the desktop application or use the web version in your preferred browser.

Method 1 of 2: On Desktop
Step 1. Launch Discord
Depending on the operating system you are using, the steps to take will differ:

Windows - Click Start
Windowsstart type discord, then click Discord that appears at the top of the window.

Mac - Click Spotlight
Macspotlight type discord, then double click Discord emerging.
Step 2. Wait for the Discord window to open
Once the login form is displayed, you can continue the process.
If Discord goes straight to the home page, you're logged in
Step 3. Type in your email address (email)
Enter your Discord email address in the " EMAIL " text box at the top of the form.
Step 4. Enter the password
Type your Discord password into the " PASSWORD " text box at the bottom of the form.
Step 5. Click the purple Login button at the bottom of the page
Step 6. Enter a two-factor authentication code if necessary
If the Discord account uses two-factor authentication to confirm your login, type one of the codes from your Discord account and press Enter.
Method 2 of 2: Via Website
Step 1. Visit the Discord site
Run a web browser on your computer and visit
Step 2. Click Login at the top right of the page
A login form will be opened.
If there is a button Open here, you are logged in to Discord. Open your Discord server by clicking Open.
Step 3. Type in the email address
Enter your Discord email address in the " EMAIL " text box at the top of the form.
Step 4. Enter the password
Type your Discord password into the " PASSWORD " text box at the bottom of the form.
Step 5. Click the purple Login button located at the bottom of the page
Step 6. Enter the two-factor authentication code if necessary
If the Discord account uses two-factor authentication to confirm your login, type one of the codes from your Discord account and press Enter.
