This wikiHow teaches you how to view Google activity on your computer and smartphone (or tablet), and review the desktop and mobile versions of Google Chrome history.

Method 1 of 5: Checking Google Account History on Desktop Computer
Step 1. Go to the Google activity page (“Google Activity”)
Visit https://myactivity.google.com/ through your computer's web browser.
Step 2. Sign in to your account
Click the button SIGN IN ” in the middle of the page, enter your Google account email address, click “ NEXT ”, type in the account password, and click “ NEXT ”.
Skip this step if the “Google Activity” page displays immediately
Step 3. Review activity on Google account
Browse the activity list for past entries.
Step 4. Select a custom category
If you want to see activity from a specific segment (eg Chrome), click the segment title at the top of the page.
Step 5. Delete entries if necessary
To delete a specific entry from Google history, click the “ ⋮ ” to the right of the entry, click “ Delete ” on the drop-down menu, and click “ DELETE ' when prompted. If you want to clear the entire Google history:
- Click " Delete activity by ” on the left side of the page.
- Choose " all time ” in the " Delete by date " section.
- Click " DELETE ”.
- Click " DELETE ' when prompted.
Method 2 of 5: Checking Google Account History on iPhone
Step 1. Go to Google
Tap the Google app icon, which looks like the letter “G” in red, yellow, green, and blue on a white background.
Step 2. Touch the gear icon of the settings menu or "Settings"
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. After that, a new page will open.
Step 3. Swipe the screen and tap History
This option is in the middle of the page.
Step 4. Swipe the screen and touch My Activity
This option is near the bottom half of the “History” page.
Step 5. Review your Google account activity
Browse and scroll the activity list to load past entries.
Step 6. Delete entries if necessary
If you want to delete an entry from the account history, touch the “ ⋮ ” which is on the right side of the entry, select “ Delete ” from the drop-down menu, and touch “ DELETE ' when prompted.
You can also clear your Google account activity history by touching the “ ⋮ ” in the upper right corner of the screen, select “ Delete activity by ", choose " all time ” from the “Delete by date” segment, touching “ DELETE, and select " DELETE ' when prompted.
Method 3 of 5: Checking Google Account History on Android Device
Step 1. Go to Google
Tap the Google app icon, which looks like the letter “G” in red, yellow, green, and blue on a white background.
Google is installed as a default app on all modern Android devices
Step 2. Touch
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Touch Settings
This option is at the far left of the screen.
Step 4. Touch Accounts & privacy
This tab is at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Touch My activities
This option is at the bottom of the screen. Once touched, the Google account activity page will open in Chrome.
If prompted, enter your Google account email address and password before continuing
Step 6. Review your Google account activity
Browse and scroll through the list to load past entries.
Step 7. Select a custom category

Method 4 of 5: Checking Chrome History on Desktop Computer
Step 1. Open
Google Chrome.
The program icon looks like a red, yellow, green, and blue ball.
Step 2. Click
It's in the upper-right corner of the browser window. Once clicked, a drop-down menu will appear.
Step 3. Select History
It's in the middle of the drop-down menu. A pop-out menu will appear after that.
Step 4. Click History
It's at the top of the pop-out menu. Once clicked, the “History” page will be displayed.
Step 5. Review browsing history in Chrome
Go through the existing entries to check if necessary.
Step 6. Clear browsing history if necessary
You can delete individual entries from the Chrome history page by clicking “ ⋮" and choose " Remove from history " However, you can also clear your entire browsing history at once by following these steps:
- Click " Clear browsing data ” on the left side of the page.
- Make sure the "Browsing history" option is checked.
- Select a discharge time range from the "Time range" drop-down box.
- Click " CLEAR DATA ” under the window.
Method 5 of 5: Checking Chrome History on Mobile Devices
Step 1. Open
Google Chrome.
Tap the Chrome app icon, which looks like a red, yellow, green, and blue ball.
Step 2. Touch
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, a drop-down menu will be displayed.
Step 3. Touch History
It's in the middle of the drop-down menu.
If you don't see the option " History ", touch " New tab ” in the drop-down menu, touch the “button again ⋮" and select " History ”.
Step 4. Review browsing history in Chrome
Once the Chrome history page loads, browse and check the list of entries as needed.
Step 5. Delete individual entries from history if you wish
If you want to delete certain entries/information, follow these steps:
- iPhone - Touch “ Edit ” in the lower right corner of the screen, touch the entry you want to delete, and tap the “ Delete ” in the lower-left corner of the screen.
- Android - Touch “ X ” to the right of each entry you wish to remove from the “History” page.
Step 6. Clear the entire browsing history if necessary
If you want to clear the entire Chrome history from your smartphone or tablet, tap the option “ Clear Browsing Data ”, make sure the “Browsing History” option is checked, touch “ Clear Browsing Data, and select Clear Browsing Data ' when prompted.
