This wikiHow teaches you how to connect a keyboard to a Mac computer. The wired keyboard can be connected to a computer via a USB port. Method 1 of 2: Connecting a Wireless Keyboard
Step 1. Click
It's the Apple icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen. You can see it in the upper left corner of the screen. After that, a drop-down menu will be displayed.

Method 2 of 2: Connecting a Wired Keyboard
Step 1. Connect the keyboard to the USB port
Use a USB cable or wireless USB key to connect the device to an empty USB port. The USB port is usually located on the back of the iMac.
Step 2. Turn on the keyboard
If the device has a power button, press the button to turn on the keyboard. After that, the keyboard will automatically connect to the computer.
