Freshly cooked steaks are tender and delicious, but heating the steak is a different matter, as it can make the meat tough, tough, and make it taste less delicious. If you want to enjoy your steak just as well this second time around, try this method of heating the steak.

Method 1 of 3: Heating the Steaks on the Stove
Step 1. Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it rest for a few minutes
Leftover meat tastes better when heated from room temperature. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan or skillet, add the steaks, and sprinkle the butter over the top. Heat until the meat is warm.
It might be easier to preheat the pan, but as soon as the butter melts, lower the heat. Flavors in meat can wear off quickly, so be careful
Step 2. Place leftover steaks in sealed plastic
Also add the ingredients and seasonings according to taste such as pieces of garlic and onion, salt, and pepper. Close the plastic seal, then put the sealed plastic in a pot of hot water. Wait four to six minutes until the meat is hot, depending on the thickness.
This method may be difficult if you have more than one piece of steak to reheat. If your family is waiting for the steak, you may be better off putting it in the oven or using the fryer right away
Step 3. Heat the steak in a frying pan filled with beef broth
Heat the stove until the broth is hot, then allow the meat to heat with the beef stock until it is completely hot. Remove and serve immediately or cut the meat into small pieces if you want to use it for another recipe.
Step 4. Cut the meat into small pieces, then stir-fry with the vegetables of your choice
Then serve the result with rice and soy sauce. The hot rice will help retain the flavor of the meat.
Method 2 of 3: Heating the Steaks in the Oven
Step 1. Preserve the flavor of the steak by heating it in a microwave oven
Place the meat on a heatproof plate, then sprinkle with a little steak sauce, Italian-style sauce, barbecue or teriyaki sauce, and a few drops of oil or butter. Cover the plate, then put in and heat the meat in the microwave on medium setting.
Heat until the meat is just warm, checking every few seconds, because if it's overcooked the meat will dry out. You should therefore use medium heat, because on high heat (which is what you normally use), the meat will lose its flavor
Step 2. Alternatively, let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes
This will allow the fat and juices to return to the meat. While you are waiting, preheat the oven to 80°C.
When your oven has reached 80°C, add the meat and wait 10 to 12 minutes. This will warm the meat, not cook it. After that serve with other hot food so that the heat is maintained
Method 3 of 3: Heating the Steak with the Stove and Oven
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 120°C
Step 2. Place the steaks on a grill mat with a wire grid
Then put in the oven for 30 minutes until the deepest meat reaches 43°C. Use a meat thermometer to measure the temperature.
Make sure the meat is not hotter than this temperature, or the meat will cook and then dry out. Also, the heating time may vary depending on the thickness of your meat
Step 3. Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a frying pan
Calculate the time so that when the oil starts to heat up, all you have to do is remove the steak from the oven. Dry with paper towels and set aside. The oil is ready to use when it has smoked.
Step 4. Heat both sides of the meat until crisp and browned
You only need to heat it for 60 to 90 seconds on each side. Once done, remove the steak and let it rest for five minutes before serving.
This way the juices are reduced slightly than they were once processed and will be crispier, which is good. This method may be more time consuming than simply putting it in the microwave, but the results will be worth it
Tips
- Leftover steak can be sliced thinly and served with onions, tomatoes and pepper. Add a squeeze of lime and serve with tortillas and sour cream and salsa.
- You can also eat your stei chilled on its own or cut it into small pieces and add it to your salad mix.
- You can also chop up leftover steak and add it to the soup ingredients.
