This wikiHow teaches you how to access Google's support resources. You cannot call or email directly the Google customer support team. The only thing that can get you to talk to Google is when you ask for support for a specific item (such as an Android phone) or send an email related to the press. In most situations, your problem won't be solved by contacting Google. While you can't contact Google to resolve issues related to support services like YouTube or Gmail, you can use the Google Support site for instructions on how to resolve them. Keep in mind that if you come across a lot of numbers and email addresses claiming to be from Google, it's a scam.

Method 1 of 2: Using Google Support
Step 1. Understand how the Google support center works
Google does not provide customer service to address things like account recovery and password reset. However, they do provide comprehensive help lists on common topics and guides for troubleshooting common problems.
Although the support center cannot be used to contact Google, it is the only alternative from Google to resolve issues that you think can be resolved by contacting Google
Step 2. Visit Google Support
Run a web browser on your computer and visit
Step 3. Click a product
Select the name of the problematic product.
For example, click options Google Chrome if Google Chrome has a problem.
Step 4. Check the support sources provided
There is a list of common topics in the middle of the page. Find your problem or question here.
Step 5. Select one of the categories of support sources
Select the category of question or problem you want. The categories will be expanded and show some more specific options.
- Skip the next step if a support page appears when you click a category.
- You can also type the problem or question you want in the search field at the top of the page.
Step 6. Click the support resource topic
Select one of the topics listed under the expanded category. A support article page for that topic will open.
If you type a problem or question in the search field, you must click on the topic that appears in the drop-down menu below the search field
Step 7. Follow the instructions given in the support article
Read the support article carefully and then follow the instructions in the article to solve your problem.
- You may have to follow the instructions from some articles in order to completely solve the problem.
- Most supporting articles display a list of related articles on the right side of the page.
Step 8. Look at the support number for the Android phone
If you want support for a non-Pixel Android device, take a look at the list of support numbers you can call by doing the following:
- Click Pixel Phone on the Google Support page.
- Click Contact us at the top right of the page.
- Click Android Device Support.
- Check the drop-down list containing the phone number.
Step 9. Submit a request to talk about your Pixel phone
If you have an Android Pixel 1 or 2 phone, get support from Google via a phone call or chat by doing the following:
- Click Pixel Phone on the Google Support page.
- Click Contact us at the top right of the page.
- Click Pixel Device Support.
- Click your Pixel phone model.
- Click Request callback for phone calls or Request chat to chat via short message.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 10. Submit a request to chat about Google Drive issues
Google Drive is the only app-based service that is supported in real time by Google. You can request a chat or email conversation to Google by doing the following:
- choose Google Drive on the Google Support page.
- Click Contact us in the top right corner of the page.

Select a topic, then select a category when prompted.
You can't use options Request a refund for this step.
- choose Request chat or Email support.
- Follow the instructions given on the screen to have a chat or email conversation.
Method 2 of 2: Contacting Google Directly
Step 1. Understand that there are very few ways to contact Google directly
Unless you're a G Suite administrator or a member of the press, you can only contact Google directly by sending a postal letter and submitting a job application.
The only exceptions to this rule are Pixel support, Android support, and Google Drive support, which were described above
Step 2. Never call a number that is not provided by Google
At this time, many circulating several fraudulent numbers claiming to belong to Google. To avoid being scammed (or wasted time), only call the numbers listed in the Google docs. For example, you can call the number listed on a G Suite form, but don't call the number listed on a site other than Google.
- This also applies to email addresses and regular location addresses.
- Google employees are not allowed to ask for passwords during chats or phone conversations.
Step 3. Email the Google press team
If you are a member of the press and want to ask Google a question, send an email at
. Depending on the subject of the email, you may or may not get a reply.
Google only accepts and responds to emails sent by members of the well-known press
Step 4. Send postal mail to Google address
If you don't mind sending postal mail without getting a reply, write to 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043. Google will not be able to reply to postal mail. So don't take this action to ask for feedback on a sensitive or urgent matter.
Step 5. Contact G Suite support
This cannot be done by a regular Google account owner. Only G Suite administrators have access 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to customer support. To contact Google using G Suite, you must be a G Suite administrator. Do the following things to do it:
- Launch a web browser and visit
- Specify the contact method (e.g. click Phone Support if you want to call Google).
- Click SIGN IN TO G SUITE.
- Sign in with a G Suite administrator account.
- Follow the instructions on the screen. If you call Google, also follow the instructions given by the service hotline.
Step 6. Submit a job application to Google
The final way to contact Google directly is to apply to them for a job. Visit Google's Careers page and apply for available jobs. How to do it:
- Run a web browser on your computer and visit
- Change the location in the text box on the far right to match the location you want.
- Click the " Search jobs " text box, then press Enter.
- Browse the results by scrolling the screen.
- Select the desired result, then click APPLY which is in the upper right corner.
- Fill out your job application and follow the on-screen instructions.
Tips
Many people misunderstand when contacting Google. They think that the customer support line can help with issues related to account changes, password recovery, and the like. Unfortunately, Google does not provide the time and staff to guide users in solving this problem
