This wikiHow teaches you how to send an enlarged emoji on WhatsApp by uploading a message containing only one emoji.
Step
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
This app is marked by a green icon with a white speech bubble outline.
If WhatsApp isn't verified on your phone, you'll need to confirm your phone number before proceeding
Step 2. Touch Chats
This tab is at the bottom of the screen (iPhone) or at the top of the screen (Android).
If WhatsApp immediately displays the chat window, first tap the “Back” button in the upper-left corner of the screen
Step 3. Open the chat
Touch the chat you want to open.
Step 4. Touch the text field
This column is at the bottom of the screen. The phone's keyboard will be displayed after that.
Step 5. Touch the emoji button
On iPhone, tap the smiley face icon in the lower-left corner of the keyboard. You may first need to press and hold the globe icon to display the smiley face icon.
On Android devices, touch the smiley face icon on the keyboard or press and hold Enter
Step 6. Insert emoji without any text
There are several sizes of emoji you can send:
- 1 emoji – Typing a single emoji character without any other characters or text will display the largest emoji in the chat window.
- 2 emojis - Typing two emoji characters without any other characters or text will display an emoji that is slightly smaller than the one emoji character in the chat window.
- 3 emojis - Typing a three-character emoji without any other characters or text will display a slightly larger emoji in the chat window than an emoji followed by text.
- 4 emojis (or more) – Typing four emoji characters (or more) will display emoji of the same size in the chat window, as when you insert an emoji into text.
Step 7. Touch the "Send" button
This paper airplane icon is at the far right of the text field. Some Android devices display this button as a tick icon. Once touched, the larger emoji will be sent to the chat window.
