Tips
- Consider deleting cookies if you have security and privacy issues especially when you use public computers. In many cases, advertisers will track your cookies when you visit certain websites to improve and personalize your browsing experience. Deleting cookies on public computers can prevent other users from tracking your internet activity.
- Delete cookies when your browser or computer is sluggish. While cookies can speed up the loading process of web pages, too many cookies can actually cause the overall performance and efficiency of your computer to decrease.
- Remove cookies from Chrome if you have problems accessing certain websites or if they are slow to load. Websites that have been updated will usually not display or function optimally unless you have removed the cookies.
