This wikiHow teaches you how to view passwords for online accounts (network or online) stored in Google Chrome on Windows or Mac.

Method 1 of 2: Sign in to Chrome
Step 1. Open Google Chrome on the computer
The Chrome icon is shaped like a colorful ball and has a blue dot in the center. You can find it in the Applications folder on a Mac or in the Start menu on Windows.
Step 2. Click the icon shaped like a silhouette of a person in the top right of the window
You'll find this icon above the button that's three vertical dots (⋮) in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window. Clicking on it will open a drop-down menu.
Step 3. Click the blue Sign in to Chrome button
Clicking on it will allow you to sign in to Chrome using your Google account in a pop-up window (a small window containing certain information).
Once you're signed in to Chrome, your name will replace the silhouette of the person icon at the top right of the window
Step 4. Enter the email address
Use an email address (email or email) to sign in to Chrome.
Step 5. Click the NEXT button
It's in the lower-right side of the window where you're signed in to Chrome. Clicking on it will open a field where you can enter your password.
Step 6. Enter the Google account password
You must enter the password used to log into your Gmail account.
Step 7. Click the NEXT button
After clicking the button, you will be signed in to Chrome using your Google account.
Step 8. Click the UNDERSTAND (OK, GOT IT) button
Clicking on it will open a window where you can sign in to Chrome.
Method 2 of 2: Finding Saved Passwords
Step 1. Click the “⋮” button
It's next to the URL field (the field where you can enter your email address) at the top-right of the Chrome window. Clicking on it will open a drop-down menu.
Step 2. Click the Settings option in the drop-down menu
Clicking on it will open the After Chrome menu in a new tab.
Step 3. Move the screen down and click on the Advanced option
This option is at the bottom of the Settings menu. Clicking on it will show you the advanced options available for Chrome.
Step 4. Scroll down the screen to find the "Passwords and forms" section
This section contains all the password information stored in Chrome.
Step 5. Click Manage passwords under "Passwords and forms"
Clicking on it will open a list of usernames and passwords for online accounts.
Step 6. Click the “⋮” button next to the password for the account you want to view
All passwords saved in Chrome are hidden in the list. Clicking the “⋮” button will open a drop-down menu.
Step 7. Select Details on the drop-down menu
Selecting it will open a pop-up window showing the website (website), username, and password for the selected account.
Step 8. Click the eye icon next to the hidden password in the pop-up window
Doing so will reveal hidden passwords. After that, you should verify your account in the new pop-up window that appears on the screen.
Step 9. Enter the computer account password in the pop-up window
The password used must match the password used to log into Windows or Mac when the computer is turned on.
Step 10. Click the OK button (OK)
Clicking on it will verify the account and reveal the hidden password.
Step 11. View the saved passwords in the "Password" column
You can see your saved passwords in the "Password" column at the bottom of the pop-up window.
