This wikiHow teaches you how to delete a location that has been saved from a list of places on Google Maps on a computer.
Step
Step 1. Visit https://maps.google.com via a web browser
If you are not logged into your Google account, click the “Sign In” button in the upper right corner of the screen to sign in.
Step 2. Click the menu
It's in the top-left corner of the page.
Step 3. Click Your places
This option is in the third group of options. A new window will open on the left side of the map.
Step 4. Click the SAVED tab
This tab is at the top of the “Your places” window.
Step 5. Click the category containing the place you want to delete
You can save the location in the category “ Favorites ”, “ Want to go ", or " Starred places ”.
Step 6. Click the location you want to delete
The map will zoom in and show related information.
Step 7. Click the SAVED flag icon
This icon is below the location name. The list of categories will be expanded. Categories containing saved locations have blue and white check marks.
Step 8. Uncheck from category
After that, the selected location will be deleted.
