If worn correctly, breathing apparatus can help relieve nasal congestion, improve breathing, and reduce snoring. The breathing patch is designed to gently lift the sides of the nose and open the passages.
Step
Step 1. Wash the surface of the nose with a mild and gentle soap
Cleaning your nose thoroughly will help remove dust and oil from your skin, so the tape can stick more effectively.
Step 2. Use a soft towel to dry your nose
Pat your nose with this towel.
Step 3. Peel off the glued part of the plaster
Step 4. Apply the tape in the middle of the nose
This patch should be applied to the area just above each nostril.
Step 5. Gently press the end of the tape so that the glue sticks firmly to your nose
Step 6. Gently rub your fingers over the tape to make sure it is firmly attached to the nose
Tips
- Use a small amount of powder on the surface of the nose after you have wiped it. This powder can absorb moisture or sweat, especially if you have oily skin. Powder can help the tape stick more efficiently to the nose -- especially if you usually sleep between positions.
- Try to position the tape as carefully as possible. Do this when you paste it, so you don't have to move it. Often, the glue remaining in the plaster will not be strong enough to stick in the new position.
