Method 1 of 2: Crushing Contorted Discs at Home
Step 1. Examine the files in the contorted disc
If there is important or sensitive information on a contorted disc, you will need to find a way to access and delete it. Step 3. Use a strong magnet to erase the disc contortion data
Purchase neodymium magnets at your nearest office supply store or department store. Rub the magnets on both sides of the contorted disc. This will scramble the data in the contortion disk and make it inaccessible.

- The smoke from burning disc contortions is quite thick and toxic. Burn discs outside to prevent inhalation of smoke. Make sure the wind is not blowing your way.
- Make sure you check the garbage incineration regulations in the area where you live. Some areas prohibit residents from burning trash, or limit the amount of waste that can be burned.

Step 1. Take the contorted disc to a contortion disc specialty recycling center
There are services that can retrieve data from a contorted disc and send it to you. After that, the disc will be recycled. If you don't need the twisted disc data, the disc will be destroyed and recycled. Some recycling services will even pay you to ship and recycle contorted discs through the service.
Most contortion discs are reusable. Many government programs still use contorted discs. Used contorted discs are commonly used for art projects

Electronic goods contain parts that can damage the environment if not disposed of properly. Look for an e-waste treatment center near you to safely dispose of contorted discs.
Make sure that the contorted disc you are about to discard does not contain any important or sensitive information
Step 3. Make crafts from contorted discs
If you like making crafts, try making crafts from contorted discs, such as accessories, wall clocks, and so on. You can also use hot glue to attach 5 contorted discs and turn them into small pots or pencil holders. You can also drill two contorted discs, cut the paper into a contorted disc shape, and bind the paper with the contortion disc to make a notebook.
