This article teaches you how to apply a long hairstyle to your Bitmoji avatar on iPhone and Android phones. You will no longer be able to edit your Bitmoji avatar on a computer.
Step
Step 1. Open Bitmoji
Tap the Bitmoji app icon which is a smiling face on a light green background. Your Bitmoji main page will open if you are logged in to Bitmoji.
- If you are not logged in yet, tap the desired login option (for example Snapchat) and enter the required information.
- If you created a Bitmoji avatar via Snapchat, you can open Snapchat, tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, tap the avatar's face in the middle of the menu, tap Edit Bitmoji, and tap Edit My Bitmoji to open your Bitmoji account. If you did this step, skip this step.
Step 2. Tap the “Edit” button
It's a head and pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen. This will open your Bitmoji attribute editor.
Step 3. Make sure you are on the " Hairstyle " page
Bitmoji editors usually open the " Hairstyle " section, which appears in a green bar across the screen.
If you're not on the " Hairstyle " page, tap the right or left arrows on either side of the screen to search for it. It's between the " Hair Color " and " Eyebrows " sections
Step 4. Choose a hair color
Scroll down to find a long hairstyle, then tap the style you like.
Bitmoji and Bitstrips type avatars have long hair styles, although the options may vary
Step 5. Save your changes
Tap the check mark at the top right of your screen. Your Bitmoji now has beautiful long hair.
