You can use iTunes or iCloud to move contacts from iPhone to computer. If you use iTunes, contacts will sync just like any other iTunes content. If you use iCloud, your contacts will automatically update on your computer when they sync from your phone, or vice versa.

Method 1 of 2: Using iTunes
Step 1. Touch the settings menu (“Settings”) of the iPhone
Step 2. Touch Contacts
Step 3. Select Import SIM Contacts
Step 4. Touch On My iPhone
Contacts stored on the SIM card will be added to the iPhone storage space so they can be synced to the computer.
If "iCloud" is shown in the menu instead of "On My iPhone", existing contacts are synced through the iCloud account. You can sync it to your computer by signing in to your iCloud account
Step 5. Connect iPhone to computer
Step 6. Open iTunes if the program doesn't start automatically
Step 7. Click the iPhone button
You'll see this button at the top of the iTunes window.
Step 8. Click the Info option
Step 9. Check the Sync contacts with box
This box is not available if iPhone is set to sync contacts through an iCloud account. Read the next segment for more information.
Step 10. Click the drop-down menu to select a sync destination
You can sync contacts with your Windows, Outlook, Google, or other accounts that are already stored on your computer.
Step 11. Click Selected groups if you want to sync certain contacts
You can select the contact groups you want to sync. By default, all contacts will be synced to the computer.
Step 12. Click Apply to start the synchronization process
The contacts will be moved from the iPhone to the sync destination on the computer.
Step 13. Look for the contacts that have been added
You can access the contact list for any previously selected program. For example, if you want to sync contacts to Outlook, you can find new contacts in the Outlook contact list.
Method 2 of 2: Using iCloud
Step 1. Touch the settings menu icon (“Settings”)
Step 2. Touch iCloud
Step 3. Select Sign In if you are not signed in to your Apple ID yet
To sync your contacts to your computer wirelessly using iCloud, you must first sign in to your Apple ID on your phone.
If you're signed in, you can see your Apple ID at the top of the menu and iCloud settings below it. Make sure you're signed in to the right Apple ID
Step 4. Touch the Contacts slider to activate it
Step 5. Touch Merge if prompted
Duplicate contacts stored in iPhone storage space will be merged with contacts already stored in iCloud account.
Step 6. Touch < Settings to return to the settings menu (“Settings”)
Step 7. Touch Contacts option
Step 8. Touch Import SIM Contacts
Step 9. Touch iCloud
Contacts from the SIM card will be added to the iCloud account to be included with other contacts.
Step 10. Sign in to the iCloud account on the computer
The process to follow is different for Mac and Windows computers:
- Mac – Click the Apple menu and select “System Preferences”. Click the “iCloud” option. Sign in to your Apple ID. After that, slide the "Contacts" switch to the active position.
- Windows – Download the iCloud for Windows program from the Apple site. Run the installation file and sign in to your Apple ID. Check the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks" box.
Step 11. Search for the contact on the computer
Once you've signed in to your iCloud account and synced your contacts, you can find them on your computer in your contacts' storage directory. For example, on a Mac, you can find a contact in the Contacts app. On Windows computers, you can find contacts in the Outlook application.
