Step 1. Calm your dog

Part 2 of 2: Bathing a Pregnant Dog
Step 1. Carefully lift your dog into the tub
If your dog is large enough it may take two people to lift it. Do not lift from under his stomach because it will make him uncomfortable or even painful. Lift the body by supporting it with your arms. Place one arm under his hind leg (behind his stomach), while the other arm supports the lower part of his chest.

Step 2. Open the water tap
Make sure the water temperature is warm (you can open the hot and cold water taps at the same time). Use a water spray (if you have one) to wet the entire body.
