Cleansing milk is a type of cleansing product that can remove make-up, dust, and dirt from the face. Although it can't eradicate or prevent acne, cleansing milk can keep your face clean and beautiful. To use cleansing milk, wash your hands first, apply the product on your face and neck, then rinse thoroughly.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Using Cleansing Milk
Step 1. Tie your hair back
Since you need to lean forward when using the cleansing milk, tie your hair so it doesn't fall out and hit your face. Hold the bangs using hair clips. Style the hair into a horsetail using a hair tie.
If you have short hair, you can hold it back with a headband
Step 2. Wash your hands
Make sure your hands are clean before you use cleansing milk. Wash hands with soap and warm water. Your hands may have bacteria that can cause acne or skin infections.
Step 3. Warm the cleansing milk until it reaches skin temperature
Pour cleansing milk into the palm of the hand. Apply and rub the palms together to warm the cleansing milk. Do it for a few seconds until the cleansing milk reaches skin temperature.
Step 4. Apply milk on the face
Place your palms with light pressure on your cheeks. This is done to "transfer" the milk to the skin. Keep your hand on your cheek for about 10 seconds before releasing it.
Step 5. Gently pat your face with your hands five times
After coating your face with cleansing milk, place your palms back on your face and lift them up quickly five or six times. This movement can create a kind of suction that draws dirt from the pores to the surface of the skin for easy cleaning.
Step 6. Massage the milk on the skin
Apply cleansing milk all over the face and neck. Use gentle pressure and massage the milk into the skin.
By massaging the milk into your skin, you can reach areas that often "trap" dirt and makeup residue, such as the sides of your nose and the skin under your eyebrows
Step 7. Rinse face with warm water
When finished, rinse your face using warm water. The remaining milk that sticks will be lifted from the skin. You can also use a cotton swab or washcloth to remove the cleansing milk.
Step 8. Remove any remaining milk using a washcloth moistened with warm water
Cleansing milk can leave residue on facial skin. If you feel that there is still product residue on your skin, dip a washcloth in warm water. Cover your face with the washcloth for five seconds. After that, wipe the remaining milk that is still attached.
You can repeat this step three or four times to remove any remaining milk
Step 9. Use a pore tightener and moisturizer afterwards
Apply a toner product that you normally use to tighten the skin pores. Pore tightening products can cleanse the skin to a deeper layer and prevent breakouts. After that, end the treatment with a facial cream or lotion to moisturize the facial skin.
You can also apply makeup at this stage
Method 2 of 2: Determining the Right Time to Use Cleansing Milk
Step 1. Use cleansing milk in the morning and evening
Cleansing milk is a product that is mild enough to be used in the morning and evening. You can replace your daily face wash with cleansing milk. At night, you can use cleansing milk to remove light makeup.
Step 2. Use cleansing milk to remove foundation or makeup foundation
Cleansing milk can be used to remove make-up, dust, and dirt from the face. However, this product cannot necessarily be used as a cleansing product to reduce sebum or remove pore-clogging dirt. To clean your face from foundation or powder, use cleansing milk on your face as you would any other cleansing product.
If you previously wore heavy makeup, apply a makeup remover or makeup remover first, then finish with cleansing milk to remove makeup and dust
Step 3. Use cleansing milk to remove eye makeup
Cleansing milk can be used to remove makeup residue. To remove eye makeup, moisten a cotton swab with warm water. Apply cleansing milk to the eye area. After that, carefully use a moistened cotton swab to wipe the eye from the inside out.
