Step 1. Open Snapchat

Step 2. Take the photo you want to use as a sticker

Touch the circle button at the bottom center of the screen to take a photo.

Step 3. Touch the scissors icon (“Scissors”)

It's at the top of the screen, to the left of the “Stickers” icon.

Step 4. Draw a line outside the part of the photo that you want to use as a sticker

When finished, the part of the photo that falls within the outline will be inserted as a sticker into the post.

  • Drag your finger to move the sticker to another part of the screen.
  • Drag two fingers toward each other or away to change the sticker size.
  • Use two fingers to rotate the sticker by dragging the sticker in a circular motion.

Step 5. Touch the “Stickers” icon
