Grilled spaghetti provides an interesting and delicious variety than the usual way of serving spaghetti. This is a very versatile dish and you can use a lot of leftovers if you like, or you can follow a recipe to get a specific flavor. This article provides standard recipes and an innovator's recipe, the latter of which allows you to mix anything you can get your hands on in the fridge.
Ingredients
Simple grilled minced meat spaghetti
- 225 grams of spaghetti, small
- 450 grams minced meat
- 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, chopped
- 1 can or jar (740 g) spaghetti sauce
- 200 g soft cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 1 tbsp oregano
Spiral Roasted Spaghetti
- 1 pack (500 grams) spaghetti, large
- Olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, puree
- 1 clove of onion, finely chopped
- 450 grams of tomatoes that have been mashed and filtered (or replace with canned tomato paste / factory-made / homemade jars)
- 4 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Crushed salt and pepper
- Butter or cooking oil for greasing
- 60 gr pecorino or parmesan cheese, grated
Innovative way (no specific measure as this is intuitive, use what's available)
- 1 pack of spaghetti
- Basic tomato sauce
- Delicious vegetables and various ingredients, added with selected spices
- Olive oil
- Cheese sauce
- Salt and pepper (crushed)
- Paprika powder
Step
Method 1 of 3: Simple roasted minced meat spaghetti
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 2. Boil spaghetti according to package directions
A pinch of olive oil can help soften the outside of the spaghetti and improve the cooking process. When cooked, drain and set aside.
Step 3. Put the minced meat and garlic in the pan
Saute on medium heat until slightly brown in color.
Step 4. Pour in the spaghetti and oregano sauce
Stir well.
Step 5. Grease the baking dish
Use butter or cooking oil to prevent the spaghetti from sticking to the dish.
Step 6. Place a third of the boiled spaghetti with a large spoon into the roasting dish
Step 7. Add a third of the spaghetti sauce to the top
Also add a third of the cheese.
Step 8. Repeat this coating step two more times until all the ingredients are used up
Step 9. Finish by sprinkling with cheddar cheese
Step 10. Put it in the oven
Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Don't bake too long as the spaghetti will harden.
Step 11. Remove the dish from the oven
Serve using a special pasta spoon. Add a side salad and toasted garlic bread to complete the dish.
Method 2 of 3: Roasted Spiral Spaghetti
Step 1. Boil spaghetti with a pinch of olive oil
When cooked, remove the spaghetti from the stove, drain and set aside.
Step 2. Preheat the oven to 200°C
Grease the loin loin with oil or butter to make it ready to use.
Step 3. Place the mashed garlic, chopped onion, finely filtered tomatoes and basil slices in a large skillet
Season with salt and ground black pepper to add flavor. Saute until slightly boiling. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove from the stove.
Step 4. Put the spaghetti in a round roasting dish
Swirl the spaghetti around the shape of a round dish. Arrange the spaghetti as you twirl it.
Compact as much as possible
Step 5. Pour the tomato mixture over the spaghetti spirals
Use a fork to press the sauce deeper into the spaghetti layers. The sauce should get to the bottom of the spaghetti.
Step 6. Sprinkle grated cheese over this dish

Step 7. Put it in the oven
Bake for 25-30 minutes. When it is soft and crispy, then the spaghetti is ready to be removed from the oven.
Step 8. Serve
Cut into triangles and arrange on a plate. Add a side salad as a complement.
Method 3 of 3: Innovative way
This method is ideal for cooks who don't care about size and want a quick meal. This dish is very versatile, so you don't have to worry about whether you have enough ingredients or not, because you can add more!
Step 1. Boil the spaghetti
For large portions, boil all the spaghetti in the package. For small portions, boil some. When done, drain and set aside.
Step 2. Browse the contents of the refrigerator
Remove what needs to be used, from leftover cooked vegetables, beans, to bits of meat. Cut all ingredients into small pieces.
Open a can of beans or lentils, wash it, and add it to the ingredients to make this dish more abundant
Step 3. Put some olive oil in the pan
Fry the ingredients and spices for a little while to make them fresher and brighter.
Step 4. Pour in the tomato sauce
At least half a bottle of pasta sauce may be needed to coat the spaghetti. Estimate enough. Stir everything until smooth. Season with salt and pepper (crushed).
Step 5. Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 6. Make the cheese dip if you haven't already
If the spaghetti doesn't have dairy ingredients, make white sauce instead (ideal for vegetarians).
Step 7. Arrange the spaghetti in a roasting dish
Just pour it into a plate.
Step 8. Pour the tomato sauce mixture over the spaghetti
Stir with a wooden spoon or fork until the spaghetti is completely coated in the sauce.
Step 9. Pour the cheese sauce or white sauce over the spaghetti using a spoon until evenly coated
Sprinkle paprika powder to top it off.
Step 10. Put it in the oven
Bake for 10-15 minutes at around 180°C. Do not bake too long, just until the top is brown and soft.
Step 11. Remove from oven
Serve using a special pasta spoon. Add a side salad.
Tips
- A side salad and toasted garlic bread are a delicious complement to grilled spaghetti.
