Oreos are a classic cake used to make a classic milkshake. When you're making an Oreo milkshake with vanilla ice cream, you can also try making it without using ice cream, using frozen bananas instead. Whatever you like, you can change the ice cream, flavors and milk to make an Oreo milkshake that you really want.
Ingredients
For Oreo Milk Shake with Ice Cream
- 4 teaspoons chocolate syrup
- 8 Oreo biscuits, separate
- 1 cup milk (250 ml)
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream, to soften
For Oreo Milk Shake with Frozen Banana
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup whipped cream or heavy cream, for garnish
- 4 Oreo cookies

Method 1 of 3: Make Oreo Milk Shake with Ice Cream
Step 1. Prepare the glass
Chill the glass in the freezer for 15 minutes, or until slightly frozen. This will keep your milkshake from melting too quickly.
You can make a large glass of milkshake, or divide it into several smaller glasses
Step 2. Pour the syrup into the glass
Add the chocolate syrup to the glass and rotate the glass so that the syrup completely covers the bottom of the glass.
Step 3. Chop the Oreos
Using a knife or food processor, crush 4 Oreos until they look quite smooth. get rid of it; this will serve as a topping for your milkshake.
Step 4. Add the remaining Oreos to the blender
Step 5. Add the milk to the blender
You can add more milk later, starting with just 1 cup. You can add milk later to thin the milkshake.
Step 6. Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender
This will make your milkshake thick and milky.
Step 7. Mix in the milk shake
Mix all the ingredients until the Oreos are crushed and thoroughly mixed with the milk and ice cream. The longer you mix it the softer the milkshake will become and the Oreos will be invisible. Don't mix too long if you want to get Oreo chunks in the milkshake.
Step 8. Pour the milkshake into the prepared glass
The milk shake will cover the chocolate syrup that you previously poured into the glass.
Step 9. Sprinkle your milkshake with the Oreo garnish
Sprinkle evenly on each side on the very top of your milkshake and serve.
Method 2 of 3: Making an Oreo Milk Shake with Frozen Bananas
Step 1. Prepare the glass
Chill the glass in the freezer for 15 minutes, or until slightly frozen. This will keep your milkshake from melting too quickly.

Step 2. Prepare the bananas
Peel 2 bananas and cut into about 2.5 cm. Place the pieces on a baking sheet and freeze, until firm. This will probably take about 1 hour.
You can also freeze a whole banana. But it will take longer, at least a few hours
Step 3. Add the frozen bananas and milk to the blender and mix
Mix the bananas with the milk until the mixture becomes smooth. This will take a few minutes, especially if using frozen whole bananas.
Step 4. Add whipped cream or cream for garnish and Oreos
Mix until the Oreos are as smooth as you like.
The longer you mix it, the smoother and softer the milkshakes will become. If you want a larger piece of cake, mix the Oreos and whipped cream briefly
Step 5. Pour into glasses and garnish with additional whipped cream
Serve immediately.
Method 3 of 3: Use Other Variations
Step 1. Swap the ice cream for the frozen condensed milk
If you're watching the calorie content, or want a lighter milkshake, use condensed sour milk. There are many flavors available and you can even find frozen Greek yogurt.
