Slime is a toy that is both fun and dirty at the same time! If the slime sticks to your hair or other people's hair, you may be worried because it looks difficult to clean. Fear not, try a conditioner, oil-based product, or vinegar to help get rid of the slime and your hair will be clean again!
Step
Method 1 of 3: Using Hair Conditioner
Step 1. Take a warm shower and apply conditioner to your hair
You can also dip your hair in warm water if the slime sticks near the ends. Massage the conditioner with your fingers in the direction of hair growth while separating the slime as much as possible.
The oil will help destroy the slime, and conditioners are generally oil based. Starting to clean your hair with conditioner will help you break down the slime so it can be pulled out of the hair.
Step 2. Use a comb to help separate the slime
Let the water run down the part of the hair affected by the slime, while giving massage to loosen and pull the slime. Comb your hair slowly, don't let your hair pull out and break during cleaning.
Step 3. Rinse off the remaining conditioner
Once most of the slime has been removed, rinse your hair with warm water again. Use your fingers to rinse the conditioner out of your hair.
Step 4. Massage shampoo into hair
Rub the shampoo into the slime-affected area with your fingers following the direction of hair growth. The shampoo will help remove any remaining slime from your hair.
Method 2 of 3: Using Oil Based Products
Step 1. Apply a small amount of oil to the hair
Use the oil like shampoo, massage it into the slime affected area. Use your fingers to spread the oil into your hair in the direction it's growing.
You can use products that are high in oil, such as mayonnaise, peanut butter, olive oil, vegetable oil, or coconut oil. You can even use baby oil
Step 2. Use a fine toothed comb
Comb or brush your hair to pull out the slime. Do it slowly, don't let your hair pull out and break.
Step 3. Clean your hair with shampoo and conditioner
After most of the slime has been removed, wash it off. Warm water, shampoo, and conditioner will remove any slime that's left in your hair.
In addition, the smell of the oil you use may also stick to your hair and need to be cleaned
Method 3 of 3: Using Diluted Vinegar
Step 1. Pull out the slime as much as possible
If there are large clumps of slime, try pulling them out first. If it is difficult to remove, continue to the next step.
Step 2. Wear eye protection glasses
Vinegar will sting your eyes. So, protective goggles are needed to prevent it from hitting the eyes. Just make sure not to put the eyeglass strap in the slime-affected area. People affected by slime may have to hold these glasses with their hands.
Have the person stand in the shower while using the vinegar as this will drip
Step 3. Rub a mixture of 2/3 vinegar and 1/3 warm water onto your hair
You can dip your hair directly into the mixture if the slime sticks near the ends. If not, pour the mixture into your hair and massage it with your fingers to loosen the slime.
- Continue to dip your hair or add vinegar as needed.
- You can use distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
Step 4. Use conditioner to rinse off the remaining slime
Go to the bathroom and apply conditioner to the area where the slime is affected. Use a comb to gently separate the remaining slime. After that, shampoo as usual.
