Step
Method 1 of 4: Peanut Butter Banana Cake
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
Step 2. Spread the oil on a small cake mold or muffin tin
This recipe will make a small cake that is perfect for your dog and a friend. When you receive more dog guests then you must double the recipe.
Step 3. Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl
Use an electric mixer or your own power to mix the peanut butter, eggs, banana, baking powder, and soft cheese until the mixture is smooth.
- If you want a sturdier cake, add cup of flour. Many dogs are sensitive to wheat, so only do this if you know your dog can safely eat wheat products.
- If your dog likes a sweeter treat, you can also add 2 tsp of apple juice.
- Don't add sugar or salt as these are not good for your dog.
Step 4. Spoon the dough into the prepared molds
Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface so the cake will bake evenly.
Step 5. Bake the cake for 15 to 20 minutes
Check the cake for doneness by sticking a toothpick into the center. If the toothpick is clean after pulling it out again, it means your cake is done.
Step 6. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before you remove it from the mold
Don't serve the cake right away, as the cake will still be too hot for your dog's mouth.
Step 7. Coat the cake with the addition of peanut butter
If you want a lighter texture than regular cake layers, beat the peanut butter and cream cheese in equal ratios, then spread on the cake.

Step 3. Cook the bacon until it's crispy
You may have to do this in the microwave or on the stove. When the bacon is crispy, place it on a paper towel to drain the fat.
Step 4. Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl
Mash the bacon in a bowl and add the ground beef, cooked barley or brown rice, carrots, and eggs. Use a spoon to mix everything evenly.
- You know best what your dog likes. You can add as many vegetables as he likes so you can make a more "sweet" cake for him.
- You can also add a little herbs to create a more interesting aroma. Add a tablespoon of parsley if your dog likes it.
Step 5. Press the dough into the prepared mold
Use your fingers to press it evenly into the mold. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface.
Step 6. Bake the meat for 45 minutes
The beef should be fully roasted at this point. Remove the cake from the oven and allow the cake to cool, then turn it over on a plate. You may have to use a knife at the edges to help remove the cake.
Step 7. Coat the cake with cream cheese
Wait until the cake is almost completely cool or the cream cheese will melt.
