There is research showing that for many people, going back to the state of a child is a calming, interesting, and very normal idea. If you're curious about how to act like a baby, you can learn to talk, act, and dress like a baby, just for fun. See Step 1 for more information.
Step
Part 1 of 3: Talking like a Baby
Step 1. Cry
Express hunger, thirst, or fatigue by crying. If there's something all the babies in the world have in common, it's crying. Cry when you feel dirty, every time the pacifier falls, even when you have no reason to cry.
- Try varying the type of cry. Cry loudly for a few moments to release your emotions, then reduce to soft sobs. If you get attention, pause for a moment, then continue crying loudly.
- Crying on purpose can help release stress. According to research, stress hormones are released through tears and endorphins are produced when crying, so there will be a sense of calm and euphoria after crying.
Step 2. Keep on chattering
When acting like a baby, don't use a lot of words, but use incoherent voices as if you were trying to figure out how to use your voice. Make a sound like Gu-gu-ga-ga.
- Try to imitate what other people say as if you were just learning to talk. Don't copy it exactly. It can also be a reason to cry when you are frustrated at not being able to speak.
- Keep sounding. Babies ages 3 to 6 begin to make word-like sounds, such as "papa", "dada", and "yaya". By age 2, most babies can say 50 words, string short sentences, and understand many other words.
Step 3. Sing
One way to make lots of noise is to sing simple melodies and baby songs. Learn lullabies, nursery rhymes, and nursery rhymes. Don't sing out loud because you're a baby, but you can still hum to the music and try to imitate the words.
The song "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star" is familiar. So, for a fun impression, try singing an adult song in a baby's voice. Baby singing is very popular on YouTube and Vines. If you need inspiration, watch some cute baby videos and learn from the source right away
Step 4. Watch baby shows on TV
One way to learn to talk like a baby is to watch interactive baby TV programs, and try to participate. Shows like Baby Einstein and other programs on the morning channel are usually aimed at a speechless audience, so it's a good idea to get you back into baby mode.
Part 2 of 3: Act like a Baby
Step 1. Play
Much of your time should be devoted to play, which is the primary learning method in a baby's world. Babies tend to like soft, round objects such as plastic rings and other toys that are easy to hold, as well as toys that make sounds, such as bells, drums, or bells. Babies are also easily fascinated by simple pictures and often stare at other people's faces.
- Before language, babies tried to know the world through touch and sight, as well as feeling. When playing, they don't play like older children, such as making up stories and scenes with dolls or building things with blocks, but just want to know how something feels in their hands.
- So, don't think about how to play, just feel the object you are holding and imagine that you are seeing it for the first time. Find "baby thoughts" in your head.
Step 2. Show admiration and confusion at everything you find
Put yourself completely in the baby's mindset. Imagine that you are seeing everything in this world for the first time. Stare at the couch and the family pet for a long time. Try to find the function of the pacifier. Fingers should look awesome and weird. You can wiggle your toes, kick your feet, or roll over. If you can amaze yourself, you're closer to "baby mind" and will act like a baby.
Step 3. Get more sleep during the day
Babies always sleep a lot. So a baby-like attitude is the perfect excuse to take a break during the day. Nap time is a great start. Try taking an hour nap in the morning or at noon. Newborns sleep between 10, 5 and 18 hours a day, and normal sleep patterns (a few hours less) begin at 6 months of age.
Step 4. Use a pacifier
Usually, a pacifier is used to soothe the baby and provide something to suck on such as feeding. Wearing a pacifier during the day and night will soothe you and make you think like a baby.
- Usually, babies find that their finger can replace the pacifier, and this is a big discovery and independent moment in baby's development because at that time they don't depend on their parents to give the pacifier.
- You can suck your thumb if you want because it's also very soothing.
Step 5. Start crawling
Try crawling or taking hesitant steps. Babies don't run or walk perfectly, they crawl and hesitate to take a step, usually looking for balance on something. So try crawling as if you haven't learned to walk.
Sometimes the baby also moves quickly, starting by sitting up and extending the legs forward, then pulling the legs and moving forward slightly. It's super cute and is the perfect way to look like a baby
Step 6. Eat baby food
If you want total, you have to eat like a baby. Baby food is usually a blended mixture of vegetables and meat, enriched with vitamins needed for childhood development. Basically, baby food is the same as adult food, but refined. Try applesauce, yogurt, banana slices, and finger-sized meals.
- Baby food tends to be high in calories and tasteless. For an alternative with the same texture and experience, try mashing vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and radishes in a blender, with cold soup, served in a baby bowl. You can season your food to your liking and eat as if you were sitting in a baby chair. If none of the baby foods appeal to you, don't worry or force yourself to eat something unpleasant. Try the delicious pudding. Remember, this experience is supposed to bring joy.
- Put food in partitioned plates, and eat with your hands. Don't be afraid to get dirty. That's to be expected. Do not use a spoon or fork.
Step 7. Drink like a baby
Pour juices, milk, and other beverages into suction bottles with lids so that the drink doesn't spill and you don't take a quick sip. Or, put a drink in a pacifier for a real baby feel.
Use whole cow's milk, not formula, as formula may be difficult for adults to digest
Part 3 of 3: Dress like a Baby
Step 1. Put on baby clothes
Most baby clothes are singlets or overalls. These clothes are also made in adult sizes so you can wear them.
- Babies love to see bright colors. Light pinks, yellows, and light blues are much more attractive than whites, grays, and blacks. Add soft materials and pastel colors to your wardrobe. Choose clothes that are pink if you are a girl, and blue if you are a boy (this custom is considered to be the origin of the names baby pink and baby blue).
- Oversized overalls can be hard to find, but top and bottom pajamas are widely available. Pajamas like this are comfortable and warm. Rompers and jumpsuits are also easy to find and sometimes very stylish.
- Babies also often wear cute T-shirts so you can add to your collection of baby clothes with cute T-shirts with words on them. You can also make a baby apron to wear yourself.
Step 2. Use baby accessories
To complete the look, you should also wear baby accessories. No cell phones, belts or watches. Replace with suction bottles, pacifiers, and pacifiers.
- Make sure you have a few bottles of baby-scented lotion, powder, and cream on hand. The scent will definitely be recognized as a baby smell.
- Purchase baby wipes to use if you need to remove makeup, or to wipe your hands and face. The fresh baby scent will stick to your body.
Step 3. Bring a blanket or soft toy
Soothing toys usually play a big role in the development of a baby's identity, and many babies will get angry and cry if their favorite object is taken or lost. Bringing a blanket or doll will make you comfortable and feel more like a child.
Usually, babies don't just carry a doll or just any blanket, but only one that they always carry with them everywhere. Find your favorite thing, and take it anywhere
Step 4. Put on diapers
Purchase disposable trouser diapers if you are not comfortable wearing baby diapers at this age. Although baby diapers have lots of cute character images, you can buy adult diapers. If you find you can still fit in baby diapers, go ahead. In addition, there are adult diapers with cute pictures that can be purchased on the internet.
Cloth diapers are reusable and more economical. You can make your own, especially if you don't really need to use it
Tips
- Buy some plates and baby bowls with plastic dividers to separate food.
- Take vitamins and medications as usual. Just because you're adopting a younger lifestyle doesn't mean you're neglecting the things you should be doing at your actual age.
- To see an example of what should happen when you act like a baby, watch how your baby behaves for a few days. Observe, write and remember. Make sure you can clearly describe the baby's behavior, then open notes to imitate.
- Choose a secret time and place where you can act and dress like a baby comfortably, free from distractions or scrutiny. Others may not understand, but rest assured, this is a normal activity. Please enjoy it. You can discuss it with your partner, friends, or family. You don't need other people's approval to experiment and be yourself.
- Wear layers of clothing when you go out and blankets in the house when it's cold.
- Shopping on the internet provides more choice and privacy. There are many stores that are willing to ship goods in plain packages.
- Search the internet for AB/DL (Adult Baby/Diaper Lover) keywords. Overseas, there are many hospitals/health facilities that use the terms AB Aware or AB/DL Friendly to make “adult babies” feel welcome and facilitate their “special needs”. Questions about sizes, special orders, etc. handled in a courteous and professional manner, in a spirit of sensitivity and confidentiality. Remember, this experience is supposed to be exciting, interesting, and relaxing.
Warning
- Have a positive attitude and don't be shy about playing and acting like a baby, but some people may not understand. If caught, discuss it calmly and make it clear that it's harmless, healthy, and fun. Provide online articles for reference.
- If you live with your family, partner, or roommates, find a safe place to hide your baby's life and schedule a safe time for uninterrupted play.
- Formula milk is not suitable for the needs of adults. Don't drink it. And even if you wanted to, it didn't taste good.
- Be careful not to puncture the diaper pin.
- There are new concerns about the effect of talcum powder on health. Look for other alternatives.
