Breast size is determined by genetics, weight, age, and whether or not a woman is pregnant. Although breast augmentation surgery is the only way to increase breast size, there are some easy, non-surgical ways that can make your breasts appear bigger. You can also try exercise to make your breasts firmer. Talk to your doctor if you have other problems, such as being underweight, needing contraception, or considering alternatives to surgery.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Exercise to Increase Breast Size
Step 1. Do push-ups to tighten your breasts
Push-ups can strengthen the pectoral muscles under the breasts which can help lift the breasts so they look bigger. Start in a prone position with your hands directly under your shoulders. Then, slowly lift your body up. Push off the floor with straight arms. Lower your body, but don't let your stomach touch the floor, then lift your body up again.
- Repeat 10 times for 1 set. Complete 2 to 3 sets twice per week.
- Remember that push-ups don't actually enlarge your breasts. This exercise only forms the muscles under and around the breast tissue so that it is firmer.
Step 2. Take a plank position
Planks are a great exercise for toning and strengthening the entire body, but targeting the arms and chest can make your breasts appear larger. Start on your stomach, palms on the floor and toes pressed into the floor as before push-ups. Then, extend your arms so that your chest lifts. Straighten your back. Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds, then lower yourself slowly back to the floor.
- Rest 1 minute before repeating.
- Do this exercise 2 to 3 times twice per week.
Step 3. Perform a fly lift
To do this, lie on your back on a bench or sports ball, with your arms at your sides. Hold one dumbbell in each hand and extend your arms out to your sides. When the arms reach their maximum length, bring them close to the center and meet above the chest. Move the arm like this a few times.
Do 2 15 fly lifts for the first time. Increase the number when you are comfortable with this movement
Step 4. Bench press with dumbbells
This exercise builds the chest muscles as well as the arms and shoulders. Lie on your back on a bench or sports ball. Then, push the dumbbells up so they meet above your chest. Hold for 1 second, then slowly lower the dumbbells until they are almost in line with your chest.
Do 10 reps to complete 1 set, for a total of 2 to 3 sets. Repeat twice per week
Tip: Make sure you also sit and stand up straight. An upright posture makes your breasts appear bigger. Imagine that there is a rope pulling your head from above, which extends all the way to your spine.
Method 2 of 3: Make Breasts Look Bigger
Step 1. Put on a push-up bra with added foam
This is the fastest and easiest way to increase breast size. If you don't have a push-up bra, go to a lingerie store or buy a bra online. Choose a push-up bra with wire underneath and foam in the cup.
- Make sure the bra you buy is the right size. Ask the sales clerk if they can measure your bra size, or measure yourself before you go shopping.
- Some push-up bras with foam can increase the cup size by 2 or 3 sizes. Look for foam with a comfortable thickness.
Tip: Crossed bra straps can also increase breast size and create deeper cleavage. If possible, look for a foam push-up bra with criss-cross straps or straps that can be worn crosswise.
Step 2. Wear tights to create the impression of a fuller chest
Tight tops will instantly make your breasts look bigger. Choose a top that is tight on the chest or a dress with a bodice that blends in.
Make sure you are comfortable. Don't wear anything that makes it difficult for you to breathe or to sit up
Step 3. Wear two bras at once to increase the cup size by two or three times
Wear a bra that is smaller for your size first, then layer it with a bra of the larger size. The effect of two layers of bra will increase the cup size to two or three times larger.
See how layered bras look under shirts. Maybe you need to adjust it to make it look natural
Step 4. Stuff the bra with foam or socks
You can buy special foam bras, sometimes called cutlets or cookies. These plugs are inserted into the bra to cover or under the breasts to create the impression of larger breasts. If there is no lather, you can use small socks to tuck into the bra. Fold or roll up two socks, and place one under each breast.
Don't use tissue. Wipes won't last all day and don't look as natural as foam or socks
Step 5. Make a contour on the bust with cosmetics
After putting on your bra and getting dressed, use a large brush to apply bronzer between your breasts to create a deeper cleavage. Blend it upwards and outwards, forming a V shape following the natural curve of your breasts. Then, apply highlighter over the breasts. Use a sponge or a large brush to blend the two together to create a natural finish.
Method 3 of 3: Discussing Options with the Doctor
Step 1. Talk to your doctor about trying to gain weight if you are underweight
Being underweight may mean not enough fat to fill your breasts. While you can't gain weight in just one area of your body, healthy weight gain can also increase breast size. Talk to your doctor to determine if you are underweight and if weight gain will benefit you
Try checking your body mass index (BMI) to see if your weight is in a healthy range
Step 2. Discuss the use of contraception if you need one
Don't take birth control pills just to make your breasts bigger. However, if you haven't or don't want to get pregnant, consider hormonal contraception. Remember that there is no guarantee that contraception will increase breast size because that is not the goal. Breast enlargement is just a possible side effect.
Hormonal contraceptives are available in the form of pills, IUDs, injections, and implants
Step 3. Check with your doctor before trying over-the-counter supplements
It's best to avoid pills and creams that promise bigger breasts because they rarely work. Over-the-counter breast enlargement products are not regulated by a regulatory body so the claims of effectiveness may be unfounded. If you want to try supplements, check with your doctor first. Even if it looks harmless, it's important that you check for interactions with other medications you're taking.
Warning: Some over-the-counter supplements may interact with prescription medications. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking to make sure there are no interactions.
Step 4. Talk to your plastic surgeon about fat grafting as a non-surgical breast enlargement procedure
Fat grafting is a non-surgical breast augmentation technique. The trick, doctors inject fat from one area of the body to another area, such as the breast. Although it does not involve a scalpel, this procedure must still be performed by a plastic surgeon.
