Have you heard the fairy tale about Herobrine? The character that used to be just a myth in Minecraft, is now playable thanks to player-made mods (modifications) that can be installed into the Minecraft PE game (game). You need the BlockLauncher app in order to install the Herobrine mod on your Android device. If you're using an iOS device, you'll need to jailbreak the device and then install the mod from Cydia's package manager.

Method 1 of 2: Installing the Herobrine Mod (Android)
Step 1. Download and install the BlockLauncher app
This free app can be used to manage mod files so that they can be loaded into the Minecraft PE game.
- You can't summon Herobrine without installing mods.
- BlockLauncher can only run on the paid version of Minecraft PE downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Step 6. Run Minecraft PE game

Step 7. Select "Launcher Options (Requires restart)"

Method 2 of 2: Installing the Herobrine Mod (iOS)
Step 1. Jailbreak your iOS device if you want to install mods
You will not be able to install mods if your device is not jailbroken. Jailbreaking an iOS device is a complicated process and can crash your phone or void your warranty. Look for articles on wikiHow for guidance on how to jailbreak an iOS device.
Step 2. Run Cydia
At this time, the only Herobrine mod for iOS can only be downloaded via Cydia. Many mods also require you to install Winterboard.
