Couples in the Tomodachi Life game can get married by going through a process that ensures compatibility, friendship, confession, and marriage. This article explains how to go through all of these processes.

Part 1 of 5: Making Mii
Step 1. Create two Mii
Make one Mii female, and one male. Both can also be children, but adults cannot marry children, unlike the previous game, Tomodachi Collection.
Step 2. Choose the right personality
Although appearance/voice is not very important, personality must be considered. If you change the personality of one of the Mii later, there is a chance that his affection will change. Even if they do get married, the marriage may not go well and end in divorce.
Part 2 of 5: Compatibility
Step 1. Use the Compatibility Tester if you have one
Step 2. Select the two desired Mii
However, keep in mind that if they don't have full birthdays, you won't be able to see their compatibility.
- If the affection is 10-30% or even 0%, it means that there is no hope. Even if you try to match them, their marriage may not be smooth afterward.
- 35%-50%: There is still a chance but it is very difficult.
- 60%-80%: There is still a chance to fall in love.
- 80%-100%: The two are sure to fall in love, but they have to meet first.
- 99%-100% rare to find.
Step 3. Pay attention to the information shown below
The writing displayed may be " ()'s not ready to make the first move, but it may be necessary … " or " This Is a match made in heaven! But () needs to step out because () has the stronger feelings ". If what appears is the first post, the two do not have good compatibility.
Part 3 of 5: Make friends
Step 1. Make both of them fall in love with each other
Meet the two Mii. This is usually how they make friends. The topic of their conversation is very important. If the choice is wrong, the two will not be friends unless you wait for another opportunity and choose another event.
The friendship level will start from yellow/gold. This rate will increase as the two get closer. However, this level can also decrease. The worst friendships are colored light blue, and read "Not getting along at all"
Part 4 of 5: Confession
Step 1. Notice the pink heart
In the end, one of the windows of Mii's apartment will have a pink heart. If this is the Mii you want to fall in love with, try to help them. If not, keep helping them. However, once again keep in mind, the wrong choice will lead to depression.
- If they fail, there is a chance they will try again. They will buy a gift for the related Mii. If they fail, they will realize that they are not a match and their depression will decrease.
- If successful, Mii will now be dating, and the section above "Best Friend" will show them as "Sweetheart" or "Special Someone". The subtitles depend on the version of the game being played.
- If you don't want to reset to get what you want, save the game when you see hearts. That way, you can try again if rejected. Don't worry, this method has no consequences. (Even if some think this method is cheating, just skip it if you don't like it and see how it goes.)
Step 2. Beware
If two Mii like the same person, there is a chance that Mii will appear. The associated Mii will select the second, first, or neither Mii. However, keep in mind, all three can also come, but this is very rare.
Part 5 of 5: Marriage
Step 1. Wait for the heart to reappear
This time is the time to apply. You can choose the location of the application, although that will make things more difficult. Clothes don't really matter.
For the proposal to be successful, you need to make the heart that floats above as big as possible
Step 2. Tap on "Now"
If one Mii is thinking another Mii, you need to tap " Now " at the bottom of the touchscreen. You will see an orange caution.
If you choose the wrong one or when Mii thinks of something else, one heart will break. If all hearts are broken, the proposal has failed and Mii will leave. However, the application can be re-triggered
Step 3. Know that if all goes well, the wedding will take place and the bride and groom will go on their honeymoon
When they return, you will get a souvenir. These gifts depend on the location of their honeymoon.
Step 4. Enjoy the newly married couple
The couple will live in the house together, but don't sell the apartment if they have to be contacted/taken care of. Although it's optional, you can also create this pair to have children later.
Tips
- Sometimes, other Mii can interfere with the two Mii they want to be paired with, but this can fail and they are just friends. This is not bad because you can try matching the two later.
- If Mii's lovers are children, you'll need to give them Age-O-Matics so they can get married at the end of the proposal.
- If a husband and wife divorce, the house will be permanently lost. If the previous couple had children, the Age-O-Matics would disappear until they remarried.
- The two Mii will be easier to get married if they are friends.
- Be sure to check how close the Mii are, and if they drift away, try to get the two to spend more time together. Try giving travel tickets or gifts when leveling up.
Warning
- The proposal will only occur if the friendship of the two Mii turns dark green and says, "Let's Get Married!" (let's get married!. When it happens, you can only wait.
- If you marry a partner who hates each other, the marriage will go badly and then you will get divorced.
