Are you tired of a certain Sim, or want ghosts and gravestones in the game? There are many ways to end a Sim's life, especially if you have an expansion pack.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Killing Sims in Game Master
Step 1. Kill with fire
Buy a cheap stove or grill, and set up a Sim with low cooking skills to cook with those cheap tools. Or, place a flammable object near a fireplace, and have this Sim light it repeatedly. Sims that burn for an hour in the game will die and become red ghosts.
- Some Sims have hidden attributes that allow them to survive in fire for three hours. Firefighters cannot die from fire.
- The expansion pack provides multiple ways to start a fire. However, they are not included here because they do not give unique results.
Step 2. Create an electrical accident
Have a Sim with low Handiness skill repair the electronic device several times. The first crash will "scorch" the Sim, and the second will kill it if the Scorch moodlet is still active. Increase the odds by standing in a puddle trying to repair an expensive and complicated device. The ghost of the Sim that died in this accident will be yellow.
- Sims with the Handy attribute cannot die for this reason. Sims with high Handiness don't die this way either.
- Sims must have at least 1 Handiness to have the option to repair the device.
Step 3. Starve the Sim
Eliminate refrigerators, ovens, stoves, and phones so that Sims have no way of getting food. You can also lock Sims in one room. After 48 hours of game time, the Sim will die and turn into a purple ghost.
Step 4. Let the Sim sink
In the early The Sims game series, pools were dreaded because the Sims couldn't get out if you removed the ladder. However, they are smarter in Sims 3. So you have to build a wall around the edge of the pool. Sims who drown will become blue ghosts.
Method 2 of 3: Killing Sims with Expansion Packs and Store Content
Step 1. Kill with the curse of the mummy in World Adventures
By installing the World Adventures package, you can explore Al Simhara's tomb and look inside the sarcophagus to resurrect the mummy. Let mummy catch the Sim and curse it (added one moodlet). It takes two full weeks of game time to kill the Sim this way, but after that you'll get a white ghost surrounded by black clouds.
- Sims with good martial arts skills can fight mummies and avoid curses.
- There are several ways to end the curse, but most are difficult to do. Avoid meditation, going to the past, blessings from unicorns, kissing snakes, and sleeping in a sarcophagus.
Step 2. Expect a meteor to fall in the Ambitions or Seasons expansion pack
Chances are slim, but you can increase your chances by using the telescope outdoors. If you hear unpleasant music and see shadows, tell the Sim who wants to die to that point. The ghost victim of the meteor is orange like a fire victim, but also smolders with black sparks.
- If you also have the Seasons expansion and control an alien, the alien can summon a meteor.
- Meteors never hit children, ghosts, or aliens, but the Sim can run to a meteor impact site to die.
Step 3. Turn your Sim into a thirsty vampire in Sims 3 Supernatural or Late Night
Surprisingly, the vampires in Sims 3 can survive the sun. The only death they could get was their own version of starvation, dying of thirst. After two days without Plasma, the vampire will turn into a red ghost with a still beating red heart, and get a bat-shaped headstone.
To become a vampire, look for NPC Sims with tattoos on their necks and bright eyes (you'll get the "Hunted" moodlet if they're nearby). You must get to know the vampire and choose "Ask to Turn" when interacting
Step 4. Install the University Life package and scream about dying using a megaphone
Each shout will have a chance to attract the Grim Reaper. You will first get a warning, which is indicated by a single moodlet. Keep screaming about death when the moodlet is active, and the Reaper is no longer being nice.
Step 5. Kill the Sim in the rollaway bed at the university
This is one of the easy deaths in the University Life expansion. Open the bed, tell the Sim to come in, and close it. The Sim will be crushed to death.
This method requires several tries
Step 6. Shake the vending machine at the university
Shake the machine repeatedly. Every time it is shaken, there is a possibility that the machine will fall and hit the Sim. Worth the effort to get a free soda.
Step 7. Fail as magician in Showtime
Choose a Magician career for your Sim, and entertain the audience with suicide. In fact, Box of Danger is perfectly safe, but the Buried Alive and Watery Escape tricks have less chance of dying.
Trained magicians and lucky Sims may be able to try this trick hundreds of times without resulting in death. Since the attribute is hidden, it's hard to predict whether your Sim will die this way
Step 8. Get Supernatural expansion and convert Sim to gold
This is the only death that leaves furniture, namely the gold statue of the dead Sim. Grant the Sim's request until it's enough to get the prize of the Philosopher's Stone, then turn what you can find into gold. Each touch will add one small chance to die.
Step 9. Eat Supernatural jelly beans
Add Magic Jelly Bean Bush at home and keep using it. There is a 5% chance the Sim will get burned or electrocuted, plus a 1% chance of special death due to jelly beans. A death like this left a purple ghost with blue hair.
Step 10. Haunt other players with Supernatural wizards
Every time a magician casts a curse on another player, there's a chance the curse will reverse and kill him. This can only happen after the magician reaches a certain level of power. So keep practicing your spell.
Step 11. Die in the Island Paradise expansion
If you thought the beautiful island was free from death, you are wrong. Sims can drown or starve while diving, and even get killed by sharks if they can't find a place to hide. A mermaid can die from being on land too long, but nearby Sims can splash water to save her life.
Step 12. Die in the future
The Into The Future expansion pack provides two additional ways to die. There is a possibility of a collision by flying with the jetpack for too long, which can kill the Sim. Using a time machine can cause the Time Paradox Sickness moodlet, causing Do I Even Exist? and Blinking Out of Existence. Lastly, Sims simply disappear, sometimes along with their entire offspring!
Step 13. Make the Grim Reaper your neighbor
This form of death requires the "Door of Life and Death" from the Sims shop. Knock on that door to welcome the angel of death and challenge it to a guitar contest. If you fail, you will meet a deadly Pit Monster!
Step 14. Disturb the Cow Plant
One of the most awkward ways to die is to engage the Cow Plant from the Sims Store. Omeli the Cow Plant and leave it without food for a few days. Eventually, the strange plant will offer the Sim a piece of cake, and will eat you if you try to take the cake.
Method 3 of 3: Using Cheats
Step 1. Enable testing cheats
Open the cheat console with Control + Shift + C. Write testingcheatsenabled true to enable the options below.
Careful! This cheat can corrupt saved files and crash, especially if you use it on NPCs. Stop the cheat when you're done with testingcheatsenabled false.
Step 2. Make SIM aging
Press Shift and click the Sim in question. Select "Trigger Age Transition" to enter the next age category. Repeat until Sim is old, then trigger one more time to make him die of old age.
Step 3. Change the Hunger bar
By activating this cheat, the moodlet bar can be changed by clicking and dragging. Drag the Hunger bar until the Sim is starving.
Step 4. Just delete the Sim
This method does not involve death as the Sim will simply disappear, which is very helpful if the Sim is caught in an error. Press Shift, then click the Sim and select Delete.
This method might corrupt the saved files if you try it on an NPC
Tips
- If the gardener Sim can find Death Flower seeds and plant them until they grow, each flower will revive the dead Sim. This lets you try out many ways of dying without having to restart the game.
- You can restore the Sim by using a certain opportunity or make the ghost eat ambrosia.
- Turning off the will can put a Sim into some of the above situations on their own, but they can still act on their own to save lives.
Warning
- When a Sim with the Unlucky attribute dies for reasons other than old age, the Grim Reaper will revive him automatically.
- Save the game before killing the Sim. You may he back!
- Death cannot occur outside the land, such as on the road or while swimming in the sea. Attempts to kill a Sim in the area may cause an error.
