If you're looking to find photos of an acquaintance or friend, the best place to do that is on the internet. Many people post photos of themselves, whether on social media, professional business pages, or personal web pages. If you already have one photo of the person you want, you can also look for other photos using the Reverse Image search.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Searching for Photos Through Social Media
Step 1. Start from Google
Google is the best option if you want to find a person and their photo. Enter any keywords about the person in the search field, then press Enter. For example, you can type in the keyword "Dewa Budjana guitarist for the band Gigi".
- From there, you can browse the person's social media sites, or maybe you'll find their personal site.
- If you want to search for photos directly through Google without social media, you can enter a search query directly into Google Images. You can do this by accessing this page:
Step 2. Use the Facebook search field
If you have a Facebook account and suspect the person you're looking for also has an account there, try doing a search on Facebook. Enter the person's name in the search field, then press Enter. Browse the results, and if you have found the account, click " Photos ".
If the person you want has a common name, Facebook may return thousands of search results
Step 3. Use the Friends Search function on Facebook
If an initial search on Facebook doesn't return the desired results, try using the Friends Search feature. You can use it to enter whatever information you know about the person, such as the person's occupation, hometown, school, university, and graduate location, whichever is available.

Step 4. Find the photo on Instagram
You can only search for photos on Instagram if you have a personal account. If you're already signed in on your phone or computer, tap "Search" (magnifying glass icon) at the bottom of the screen. Type in the person's name, and scroll through the displayed photos until you find the person's account. However, you won't be able to access the uploaded photos, unless the account is public (or you asked for a request to follow him, and he allowed it).
The search feature on Instagram is not as good as Facebook. You must enter all search keywords in the main search field
Method 2 of 2: Searching Photos with Reverse Image Search
Step 1. Visit Google Images
If you have one photo of the person you want and want to find another photo, you can use the Reverse Image feature on Google. Go to Google's main page, then click " Images " in the top right corner, or visit
- A reverse image search can also be useful for identifying someone, if you've found someone's photo on the internet and want to find another photo.
- For example, if you find a photo of a familiar-looking person on a social media page and want to find out if he or she is also a student at your school, you can use a reverse image search to find other photos of that person.
Step 2. Use photos to search for people on the internet
In order to perform a reverse image search, you must have a photo of the person you want. This photo can be from his Facebook or Instagram account. Alternatively, if you only know the person professionally, try to find them using a photo on the profile of the business or company they work for.
Alternatively, you can perform a reverse image search using photos stored on your computer's hard disk. The search can be done in the same way for both of these options
Step 3. Click and drag the photo into the search field
You can do a search easily: drag the photo that is placed on the desktop or computer browser window, then drop it in the search field. Google will start doing the search automatically.
You may need to adjust the size and placement of the browser window on the desktop so that photos and the Google Image search field can all appear on the desktop
Step 4. Browse the resulting photo
The search results will show you other photos on the internet that are similar to the photo you attached. The site will also display "visually similar images", so you can find more photos of the people you want.
