If you use the Netflix app on your phone or tablet, you can quickly share links to your favorite movies and television series using almost any type of messaging app. This wikiHow teaches you how to share your favorite content from Netflix, as well as how to share access to your Netflix account with other people.

Method 1 of 2: Sharing Movies or Shows via Mobile Apps
Step 1. Open Netflix
This app icon looks like a red “N” on your home screen, app list, or search results.
Mobile devices include iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, as well as Android phones and tablets
Step 2. Hover over the details page of the movie or television series you want to share
When you open Netflix, you are presented with a home page with recommendations, a list of movies, and what you're currently watching. You can tap on one of these options to view more detailed information.
Step 3. Tap the pictorial icon

You can find this icon under the television show or movie information. When you tap on the icon, you'll see a list of options for sharing content.
Step 4. Tap the selected method to share the content
When you tap an option to share content, for example Messenger, the app will share a link to the content details page. You need to add a contact to send it.
You can also tap the “Copy Link” option to send the link elsewhere
Method 2 of 2: Sharing Your Account
Step 1. Go to https://netflix.com or open the Netflix app
If you're not signed into your Netflix account yet, sign in first to continue the process.
- You can share your Netflix account with up to 5 people, but your account type will determine how many users can watch it at the same time.
- Basic Account (lowest level) can be used by one person at a time. The Standard package above supports 2 users at a time. While the Premium package allows 4 people at once to watch Netflix in one account at the same time.
Step 2. Click or tap the +Add Profile icon
It's on the profile selection screen (the section that says “Who's watching”) at the top).
If you're using Netflix on a computer and don't see this option, click your profile name or photo in the top right corner, then click “Manage Profiles”
Step 3. Create a profile for the person you want to share with
The profile created must have a different name and avatar, but the person using the profile must log into Netflix with your account name and password.
- If the person sharing the account with is a child, click the checkbox next to “Kid ?” before continuing.

Step 4. Give the account name and password to someone else
When the person is logged in, he or she can select their own profile to start watching movies and television series.
- If you give someone else your account password, they will have access to all of your Netflix account information. Share wisely.
- If you're interested in sharing your Netflix account, you can purchase an additional plan that allows up to 4 people to access the account at the same time.
