This wikiHow teaches you how to change the theme on Twitter. While the Twitter theme customization options are limited, you can still change the theme color to any color in the HTML color spectrum. You can only change the theme via the Twitter website.

Part 1 of 2: Finding Colors
Step 1. Open the HTML Color Codes website
Visit https://htmlcolorcodes.com/ through your computer's web browser. This site allows you to get color codes that you can enter into Twitter to use as theme colors.
If you only want to choose colors that are already available (presets) on Twitter, move on to the next method
Step 2. Slide the page until it reaches the color picker
This color pick-up window is a square with gradients of various colors and is displayed in the center of the page.
Step 3. Choose the main color
Click and drag the vertical color bar up or down to select the primary color you want to use on Twitter.
Step 4. Align the colors
Click and drag the circle in the center of the color picker window until you see the color you want to use in the colored rectangle to the right of the vertical color bar. This color will be used later in the theme.
Step 5. Review the color code
Next to the "#" heading under the colored rectangle, you'll see a six-character number. This code you need to enter into Twitter.
Part 2 of 2: Changing the Theme
Step 1. Open Twitter
Visit https://www.twitter.com/ through your computer's web browser. The main Twitter page will open if you are logged in to your account.
If not, enter your Twitter email address (or username) and password before continuing
Step 2. Click the profile icon
It's a circle icon in the top-right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear after that.
Step 3. Click Profile
This option is in the drop-down menu. After that, you will be taken to the profile page.
Step 4. Click Edit profile
It's in the lower-right corner of the cover photo of your profile page.
Step 5. Scroll down and click on Theme color
This option is on the left side of the page. A segment with multiple colored squares will be displayed.
Step 6. Click
It's in the lower-right corner of the colored checkerboard segment. The text field will be displayed after that.
If you only want to use the provided color options, click the desired color and skip the next step
Step 7. Enter the color code
Type the color code into the text field. The box with the symbol + ” in it will change color to the color you choose.
Step 8. Scroll down the screen and click Save changes
It's in the top-right corner of the page. After that, the theme will be applied to the Twitter profile.
